"We've so enjoyed having Blackbeard's Tea Party along at our events that they're now our "go to" band every time we have a ceilidh. They bring energy, musical talent and a sense of fun every time they play. Our ceilidh events are always a success, and that's mainly down to this great group of musicians. If you want a lively "proper" ceilidh band, then look no further than Blackbeard's Tea Party."

"We booked the Willow Tree Barn Dance Band for our wedding anniversary all our guests and ourselves really enjoyed the music, vibe of the band. We requested that we wanted our guests to able to dance, and Mick was absolutely brilliant in organising the routines with clear instructions. We would give them 10 out of 10 and would highly recommended them. "

"Just realized that with all the end of term chaos I hadn't said thank you for getting our picnic up and dancing!! Thanks also for saving the day by arriving early at short notice when Britain's summer threw the best at us (and then some!!) and for being so flexible when things were so up in the air on arrival...definitely all the right decisions were made and everyone had a ball. We've had loads of great comments and I hope you were pleased with how many people joined in at such an early hour."

"Our family just wanted to thank you and the band who played at Lindsay's wedding on Saturday night.Everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly, and the ceilidh was a perfect way of mixing the London youngsters with scots and Irish families.Your wife was very helpful in keeping things under control, especially at the end when the Barbican were initially reluctant to allow the power back on when the noise limiter was triggered.My cousin has already booked you for a birthday bash next June in the Wheatsheaf, so we look forward to get into training for another reeling occasion!"

"The band set the tone for an evening where everyone, but everyone, joined in the dancing in our village hall. There was an enormous variety in the types of dances, no fuss about who was meant to be standing on the right or left of their partner and lots of patience when dancers didn't initially get the hang of where to move. And probably best of all they were open to requests for dances outside their normal repertoire. A good night was had by all. Thanks!"

"Just wanted to write to say sincere thanks to you, Gerry and Mike for making our Burns Night so special last night. You created a fantastic and fun atmosphere with your talented playing, vocals and humour while your efforts to organise our dances were much appreciated and enthusiastically received by all. Numerous members of our gathering mentioned to me how much they enjoyed the band. That was also backed up by how ready people were to get up to take part in the dances. "Still Reeling were the perfect band for our event. The different band sizes on offer meant that we were able to choose the amount of instruments that suited or size and budget. I had never been to a ceilidh before but they clearly explained how it worked and what they needed to set up. The caller was great and guided the group of mostly beginner's through progressively more and more complex dances. We had a mix of ages and the dancing got everyone mixing and having fun. The band had a good sense of when to let people rest and played traditional music. Everyone had a great time and I would highly recommend Still Reeling to anyone considering a ceilidh."
