Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify or other client-playlist before, after and between our sets. We also have our own pre-ceilidh, break, and post-ceilidh playlist.
Best gig is always our last gig, at the time of writing, this was our Hogmanay ceilidh for 300+ hyped up partygoers in Glasgow city centre. The venue were delighted, and the entertainments manager got a special bonus because of the takings on the night!
I'll say Liz Carroll, Alasdair Fraser, Hanneke Cassel, Laura Risk, Bela Fleck, Vasen, Olaf Mjelva, Flook , Bill Monroe...
Greatest song? Very hard, I'll name two that we sang at our last gig - Queen of Argyle (by Andy M Stewart) and Back in Black (AC/DC) !
14 years experience in this band. Our first gig was a wedding ceilidh for a family member. This went so well that we decided to solidify the band and offer ceilidh music to others for their own special events
Weddings are always fun (and always different), but really any kind of family celebration events can be great, where you can see how much it means to people to get families and friends together and have a special night, with just the right mix of socialising and dancing to live music. We always love being part of that!
We normally arrive 90mins hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best."
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area
We have an extensive repertoire of dances and music. We're happy to discuss anything in particular that is required.
