BM Ceilidh Band was formed out of the Berkeley Tavern Folk Club.

The band consists of Dave, the caller with thirty years experience. He is also a solo folk singer and sings with a local group. He is regarded as a very dancer-friendly caller ensuring the dance is enjoyed and does not become a workshop. His repertoire includes simple dances and those more difficult for the more experienced dancer.

Mike, who has been playing melodeon most of his life in a variety of bands and also as a solo artist. Mike is also a solo singer. He has played in ceilidh bands for a number of years.

Gerry, on guitar is also very experienced having played guitar most of his life and in various ceilidh bands. Gerry is also an accomplished solo folk singer.

Because all the band are respected singers the night can be broken up with the occasional song or two.
