"Mark played at our wedding ceremony in Cambridge. Despite some last minute issues with the chapel organ, Mark was very accommodating in proposing an alternative plan (bringing his own digital organ to the chapel). He was able to meet all of our song requests, and did a fantastic job on the day. The sound quality and playing made for a brilliant accompaniment to such a special moment. "

"Mark really helped to make our wedding super special and set the tone with his excellent and engaging music. He was a pleasure throughout, making things easy for us and obviously put in a lot of hard work behind the scenes - his music from the church and the reception was one of the main talking points of the day - people are still talking about his atmospheric rendition of the Game of Thrones theme in the church! We couldn't recommend Mark enough - he obviously loves what he does - and that comes through in all his performances and created a wonderful atmosphere right from the start of our special day."

Thank you Will and Sarah for your great review! I'm really pleased that everyone present enjoyed the music in church, and after at the wedding breakfast in the barn. I particularly enjoyed using the little Victorian organ alongside my keyboard in the church, it gave me the sound variations that I needed to play all of your requested music authentically - yes, Game of Thrones was a blast, and then exiting to Dire Straits 'The Walk of Life' worked brilliantly! "Pianist, organist, accompanist Gareth Giles superbly demonstrated his great gift of musicianship at our service of blessing for our wedding this summer. His versatility shone from the start with his playing a piano medley which included songs from the 40`s, Hollywood musicals, to diverse jazz arrangements. This was followed by hymns on the organ one of which, newly composed, he had never even heard before! Also a newly composed flute obligato sprung on him at the last minute! He then switched effortlessly back to the piano to play "Reverie" by Dubussy. Later playing "Liebestraume" by Liszt with such tremendous feeling. Gareth`s playing is infused with an infectious joy and flourish which is a real pleasure to experience. Brilliant!"

"Sarah, Firstly it was such a pleasure to have you play at our wedding, from the first email to the last song you were a dream to work with, you played everything I asked, the songs for the ceremony were perfect and exactly how I imagined it would be, actually it was better!! Hearing the first note to my entrance song gave me such a wash of emotion and made my nerves settle and excitement kick in, I'm gutted I couldn't just sit and listen for the whole time you played, you set the mood and entertained our guests just how I'd hoped, we had so many comments on how beautifully u sang and played!! "For any one considering booking Nigel for their wedding (or any event really), don’t think, just do it! Nigel has been an absolute pleasure to work with, so quick to reply on emails and so eager to please. There were a couple of songs we asked him to learn for us and boy did he nail it! It made the day so personal and the only downside is that we didn’t get enough time to enjoy the music ourselves. He also set up multiple locations within our venue to be able to play in different areas to fit in with our schedule and it was great to be able to have him play outside in the glorious weather we had at the weekend. We cannot thank Nigel enough and we’re so glad he was a part of our special day."

"Gareth Giles played at my birthday party at the Holiday Inn, Shepperton in March 2024. I came across Gareth through his YouTube channel 'A date with the dinner set' and knowing him as a former teacher at my children's school and living locally, I knew he would be perfect to start off my party. He plays the piano beautifully and chose a good selection of melodies. My guests thought he was excellent and I highly recommend him. "

"Mark was amazing, we contacted him with only a few weeks to go, and gave him a bunch of requests for him to play organ and piano solo plus accompanying cello. He had to practice some pieces he’d not come across before, and he totally delivered. He was a wealth of advice of what would work, but equally he listened to what we wanted and went out of his way to make sure we got the music that worked for us. Very accommodating and very accomplished, very glad to have had him there for our big day and to have made his acquaintance. Wish him all the best of luck in future."

Despite the current Covid conditions we still had a special day with close family and friends and the music for the ceremony and after drinks was beautiful and extended as everyone stayed on and continued to have a great time. He played for us at our Wedding Drinks Reception and Wedding Breakfast on our venues own grand pianos he was truly marvellous, so many compliments came in about him too, such a nice, warm friendly gentleman.
