Mark is an accomplished and gifted Pianist, Organist and Keyboard Player, with years of experience at every level in the business. Trained in Classical and Contemporary musical styles, from his early teens.
He began playing the piano at the age of 6 and was working as a professional musician 10 years later. He studied the Organ in Bristol with renowned organist Garth Benson at St Mary Redcliffe Church, where he learned his skills as a church organist. He also studied the piano to grade 8 during this time and then moved to Cheltenham to study music at St Pauls College, where he held the post of college organist for 2 years.
Mark is now a well qualified, leading Wedding and Event musician performing all over the UK playing in churches and civic venues for Wedding Ceremonies and Breakfasts. He plays for all types of events, Drinks Receptions, Summer and Christmas Balls, Birthday and Anniversary parties, House Parties etc. All styles of music are covered, from Classical to Jazz, Bollywood, Pop and Rock.
Regular wedding venues include Hengrave Hall, Bury St Edmunds; Westminster College, Cambridge, and New Walk Museum in Leicester - where he specialises in playing Bollywood Love Themes.
On a practical level, Mark offers the option of taking his portable digital classical organ and piano into church to enhance or replace the resident organ. This valuable option is especially used in small village churches where the organ is not suitable for playing the requested music, or no servicable organ is available. This means that any requested music, in any style, can be performed in any church or civic venue - bringing a fantastic cathedral organ experience to your wedding ceremony in grand style. Please see the following review from September 2021 as a testament to this option.
Mark was fantastic, spent a lot of time in advance of the wedding helping us decide song choices and ordering, right through to the ceremony itself where the music was simply incredible. I’d always dreamed of having an organ in the church and Mark enabled us to achieve exactly that. He played a mix of classic and more modern songs which gave the perfect balance. Mark then stayed and played the piano in our wedding breakfast, this was a fantastic set where lots of guests commented on the wonderful songs he played. Mark was fantastic, a true professional and would highly recommend.

Yes, we provide the perfect sound system and keyboards for the event.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue."
No
Weddings and Events, and shows.
Performance times vary, depending on individual requirements on the day. I always aim to be at the venue to be set up and sound checked 1 hour before playing time.
When playing the organ in church, I will use this time to familiarise myself with the instrument, and set up registrations for the performance.
"We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area."
I offer the very important service of repertoire and learning new songs to make the Event as bespoke as possible.
“ Brilliant, the ultimate professional, very experienced”
