Amy is an experienced, professional pianist and violinist who loves playing a large range of genres and styles from Classical to Pop music. She started learning to play the violin when she was 7 years old and piano from the age of 13. Amy studied at the Birmingham Conservatoire taking masterclasses with Peter Donahoe and Vanessa Latarche and tuition with Malcolm Wilson, John Humphreys and Victor Sangiorgio playing the piano and violin in many concerts, weddings, competitions, and recitals, gaining a Bachelor of Music degree with honours and an ABRSM piano diploma.
Amy was the resident pianist at the prestigious Bar Epernay Champagne and Piano Bar in Birmingham for 4 years and has played the piano and violin as a soloist and as a piano accompanist for opera singers at a range of private functions across the UK and abroad.
Amy has played the violin and piano for many shows, theatre productions and performances for the Prince of Wales Theatre, Rugeley Rose Theatre, and Stafford Gatehouse Theatre.
Her repertoire is vast with a setlist of over 450 songs and she can also play special requests if there are any particular songs or pieces that the client would like.
Amy provides her own Yamaha instrument with full Grand Piano sound that is fully PAT tested and her own William Piper violin hand crafted from the Victorian Violin Company. She also has public liability insurance of up to £1 million.
