1. Booking & Payment - A non-refundable deposit of 15% is required to secure your booking. - 50% balance is due within 7 days before the agreed date. - Final 35% is due within 7 days after the event. - A full invoice will be provided, including any travel expenses. - Payments not received within 14 days after the event may incur a 5% late fee per week until the balance is settled. 2. Performance Details - Performance timings will be agreed in advance with the client. - If performing outdoors, a dry weather forecast is preferred. In case of rain, an indoor performance area will be provided. - All equipment used is PAT tested for electrical safety. - Sound system requirements will be discussed with the client based on the venue layout. - An optional sound system hire (2x speakers for up to 220 guests) is available for £90. 3. Cancellations & Refunds - Free cancellation is allowed up to 4 weeks before the event (deposit is non-refundable). - If cancelled within 4 weeks of the event, 50% of the total fee is payable. - If cancelled within 7 days of the event, the full fee is payable. Exception: If the wedding is cancelled within 7 days of the event due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the couple’s control (e.g., serious illness, extreme weather, or venue closure), the cancellation fee will be reduced to 50% of the total fee at the pianists discretion. 4. If I Am Unable to Perform - In the rare event that I am unable to perform due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness or emergency), I will: - Provide as much notice as possible. - Source a trusted and skilled replacement at no extra cost. - If no replacement is found, I will issue a full refund of any payments made. 5. Travel & Additional Costs - Travel expenses will be included on the invoice based on location and mileage. - Parking fees (if applicable) will be covered by the client.
