He went out of his way to get the sheet music for songs that I had requested, which made it really special for us. He is so talented and polite. Don't hesitate to book him for your event. "

"My event was a private engagement proposal at a venue which required discretion to keep everything a top secret. I discussed at length with Nigel beforehand what my requirements were and he sent a huge list of songs he could play from memory which really helped me select a playlist to ensure the evening was fun yet intimate! We had discussions of some songs which were fundamental to the evening, such as the entrance/proposal song itself and Nigel was so accommodating to my needs, even when I changed and added songs over the coming weeks from his repertoire. There were some songs not listed which I wanted adding but luckily Nigel admitted he also knew how to play them. The evening itself ran beautifully, Nigel blended well with the surroundings (not easy to mix roses with a Ferrari F40) but he managed it. Songs were played brilliantly, and he even slipped in a couple of extra songs to suit the mood. I’d recommend asking him to play The Interstellar Theme by Hans Zimmer :) Thanks Nigel, we had a great evening, and fortunately Chloe said YES! "

"We previously asked you to play at our wedding in April, however we were unable to have you and other things at our wedding as originally planned. Now, covid hasn't brought many silver linings, but it led to us rebooking our wedding - and to think that you wouldn't have been at our January wedding seems like an absolute crime. You were absolutely out of this world. The professionalism, the voice, the set list, the personality ! Your incredibly kind nature and the chemistry you had with our guests - we couldn't have asked for more. You were as much of a guest to us as everyone else. It wasn't like having live background music it was like a special guest performance! Our maid of honour said and we quote "I would renew my vowels just so we can have Alton perform at our wedding again". And last but not least - we couldn't have been happier with our first dance song, thank you so much Alton. Please let us know if you ever record that version as we will buy it, I think you brought something to the song that the original doesn't have."

I am sorry I did not have more time to talk to you, you are so very sweet. I would particularly like to thank you for learning to play "Can you feel the love tonight," it was beautiful and brought a tear to my eyes. But then when you played "Somewhere over the rainbow," my husband was shedding a tear or two. So well done and many, many thanks."
