Andy cut his musical teeth at the tender age of 7, performing in Northern clubs with his little brother! Boasting a strong theatrical background, performing alongside the likes of Kate Winslet, Christian Bale and Claudie Blakely, music always remained his first love. Over the last 30 years he has performed in numerous Wedding, Function and Corporate Event covers bands and has appeared with the Sam Brown Band, Clarence Tex Walker (The Drifters), Oddjob, Jonny Bravo and as Frankenfurter in the Rocky Horror Show (with Richard O'Brien and Patricia Quinn) to name but a few. More recently Andy produced and performed as one half of 106 Miles to Chicago, a busy Blues Brothers tribute, and during that time also launched his 'Live and Swingin' swing show. Now dubbed 'The Bald Bublé', Andy's extensive performance experience is very much apparent during his live shows. Check out some of the reviews below and see what past clients had to say. We can supply our own PA, lighting, backdrops and DJ equipment if required. All equipment carries a current PAT certificate and we have £10 Million Public Liability Insurance cover through the Musicians Union
For Duo performances, we will need parking for one van, a suitable electrical supply and secure changing area.
For larger shows, requirements will change on a show by show basis, so please contact us.
Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.
Is the event on the ground floor or will we need to use stairs?
Does the venue use a sound limiter?
Can we get a vehicle immediately outside the venue to load equipment in?
Is there parking on site?
Does the venue have a time by which we need to be out and clear?
Yes, we have a 'party' playlist which we are happy to run through the PA outside performance times, if required, free of charge or you can book us to DJ the event live alongside the performance for total musical cohesion. Just ask for a package quote.
Set up time varies depending on PA/Lighting requirements. Generally, a solo/duo with PA for an audience of up to 100 or so would take an hour to set up, for an audience of up to 350 would be around 2 hours, and a little more for an audience of up to 500. If you book us to also DJ your event, please allow another half an hour to set up the DJ equipment. If in doubt, please discuss your specific requirements with us - we always aim to be as flexible as possible and will do what we can to accommodate.
Performance is generally either a 1.5 hour set or 2 x 45 minute sets, although again, please discuss your specific requirements with us - nothing is set in stone and we are happy to work with you and be as flexible as we can.
