About / Biography

I don’t want to go into some long sales pitch as to why I think you should choose me over someone else. All I will say is that since 2015 I’ve been lucky enough to have turned my hobby into a career, and the reviews from my clients back that up. I have a set list of around 300 songs, so there’s something for everyone. I specialise in weddings and private events, take the quality of my work very seriously and I’m also very competitively priced. If you send me an enquiry, I’ll get back in touch quickly for us to have a quick chat to see if we’re right for each other.
I'm quite active on social media, check me out @schosings

Hope to hear from you soon 😊

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

I wasn't able to tell people at the time, but I can now say that I did a very intimate gig for the Royal Air Force in Northern Ireland a few years ago. That was very special, and I was invited to perform for longer that originally agreed upon!

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I'm a big Paul McCartney fan, he's my favourite Beatle. Greatest song ever? That's tough. Bohemian Rhapsody has to come close.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I've been musical pretty much my whole life. After graduating from the University of Manchester with a degree in Psychology, it was either pursue a career in academia or give music a go. I chose the latter.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I specialise in weddings and private events, but I'm open to other adventures.

Do you choose the songs or do we?

Generally speaking, a mixture of both. I try to put a set together that I feel will be a good mix to please a broad audience. I’m happy to discuss songs beforehand and I’m always happy to take requests at my gigs.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

30 minute set up time
Typical performance length of 2 x 45 minute sets

Are you happy to perform outside?

More than happy - my PA system can run on battery power.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

My audience comes first. I tailor my gigs to how my clients want them, usually by choosing what songs I think my guests want to hear and also by playing what I feel is my strongest material.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Please take a look through my reviews for this :)
