Based in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire
I require a small clear space to set up my equipment, this include my 2 speakers and small table for my mixing desk.
I require to be close to 1 power point. I bring my own extension cables if I need more power.
If you would like me to play outdoors, I require to have access to a safe power point.
I always bring my own PA system and additional equipment to make sure my sound is the best for your event. As a daytime musician I don’t require lighting, however I do own some lighting if it is something you require during my set.
Ideally if you can let me know where you would like me to set up, which room I will be playing in relation to guests arriving. If you would like me to play outside it is advisable to ask your venue if they allow outdoor music and if so is there any restrictions with noise levels.
I am more than happy to play music through my speakers before I start playing if that is something you are interested in.
Yes! I always feel so honoured when asked to play each couple into their meal room. I love the moment when they tell me what song they have chosen for this, it’s always a belter! If I am playing at your Drinks Reception I am happy to provide Top Table Entrance free of charge.
I like to arrive at least 1 hour and 15 minutes before your guests arrive, or my performance starts, whichever comes first. For example, if you book me for Drinks Reception at your wedding I will arrive 1 hour and 15 minutes before your Ceremony starts so I can set up and do a quick sound check before everything starts. This will ensure I am ready to play the moment you come out as a married couple.
I absolutely love playing outdoors. Playing the Saxophone outside instantly creates the most special atmosphere. If the weather is clear and sunny it can transport you to another country, like being abroad, think Ibiza vibes.
I like to send my song list I currently play from to all my clients, so they are clear on the type of music I play. I have plenty of music to play so I can read room. A lot of guests have different tastes, so it’s good to have a wide range of genres to cater for all ages.
Depending on the type of event I play at I like to learn a couple of songs that are special to each client. If I was booked for a marriage ceremony my client would fully pick their own choices for 4 or 5 songs.
Previous clients are impressed with my professionalism and timely communication throughout booking process to performance. Clients comment on how passionate I am when playing music and I set the perfect tone for their event.
