Stephen F. Mone is an Irish singer/songwriter armed with a guitar, some good-humoured small talk and a great big smile. How on Earth did he end up in Yorkshire? He’ll take you on the very same journey if you want to find out.
Not one to stay in one box; he flays his emotions in the sombre tones of love songs and ballads, and he doesn't pull punches on the tunes, jams and bangers either. Armed with his guitar, his bardic brogue and a couple of specials effects pedals for extra flavour, he lays the foundation for some great vibes whatever the occasion.
His own songwriting sits somewhere between bittersweet-bubblegum pop and indie strummers; pulling influence from 70s-era songwriters to pop music machines like Ed Sheeran.
Having featured on both BBC Introducing Northern Ireland's Across The Line and BBC Introducing Sheffield, his own original music has been touted as barnstorming indie-pop in the same vein as Reverend & the Makers, Jamie T and Paolo Nutini. Available on all platforms, just ask your smart speaker!
Stephen has played theatres, festivals, manor houses and even midnight garden parties for clients and fans alike. Be sure to drop an enquiry through on LastMinuteMusicians.com to secure him for your event, big or small!

I request a flat performance space of at least 5 meters x 5 meters. We require 2 x 13 amp power sockets and an accessible parking space for loading in and out of the venue.
Yes, i'm completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
I supported The Fratellis at o2 Academy in Sheffield with a 2,000 capacity crowd playing original music.
I really enjoy crowds that are the life of the party, before I even arrive!
We normally arrive an hour before the performance to set up. I normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets at your request. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 3 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
