"Funk With Us were extraordinary from start to finish. Both Lilac and her partner Remko were very helpful in the lead up to our Wedding and made a huge effort to understand what we wanted from the evening and how to tailor the sets towards our own music tastes. On the night itself, we couldn't have been more impressed. Lilac set the tone for the entire night and really made our Wedding everything we'd dreamed it to be. If you want to have an evening of amazing music led by a highly talented and exciting performer to wow you and your guests, then you really must choose the Funk With Us! "Black Velvet Band Irish Duo yet again provided fantastic music at our Christmas party. The duo are so flexible and helpful - this year they played quite a few Scottish reels etc for our Highland Themed Party which was perfect. The vibe was also just right and got lots of people up and dancing. It was a key contribution to the overall atmosphere. Please thank them for me. I highly recommend them! "

"“Last Minute Bookings” Truly lives up to their name!!! I am from the states and my daughter was getting married at the Lord of the Manor in the Cotswolds. I wanted to have a bagpiper as a surprise for my daughter. After them helping me book a piper and everything arranged and ready to go for the big day, the piper had unfortunately fallen ill and was not going to be able to play at the wedding. The bad news was short lived thanks to Sara-Jane and Last minute Booking…very shortly she had another piper lined up and we were all set!!! The piper Patrick Larkin came to Lords of the Manor and played brilliantly…he marched the wedding party over from the hotel to the church and what a surprise it was for my Daughter Claire!!! It was perfect and it was all made possible by Last Minute Booking and Patrick!! We are forever grateful for helping make our daughter’s wedding something we will never forget!!! Thank you, Jeff. "

The music itself was absolutely first rate and a number of guests have specifically complemented us on this. "Davie, I just wanted to contact you to say, ‘thank you VERY much, indeed’ to you and your band members for performing last Friday evening at the annual Grange Dyvours Tennis Club ‘Snow Ball’ and making it the tremendous success that it was. I have been to many weddings, ceilidhs and parties over the years and danced to many bands and I can tell you, without a shadow of a doubt, that ‘The Big Shoogle’ stands head and shoulders above the rest. Who would have thought that weaving in Pink Floyd and Deep Purple tracks in the middle of a Dashing White Sergeant would have worked but it did! You were an absolute pleasure to deal with, before our event; you all drove a considerable distance to arrive, at exactly the time requested, to set up all your equipment then, after our dinner, you returned to put on the most amazing performance. Some of our (non-Scottish) members had never danced some of the dances before but you made sure to talk everyone through what was expected, as a warm up, before the mayhem began. My face was sore laughing, at the end of some of those dances. Just brilliant. Our ‘Snow Ball’ on Friday evening was an astounding success and we have you to thank for that. Absolutely first class. P.s. Also, thanks for taking our booking for our ball, next Christmas. I wanted to get in quick to secure you as I know how much in demand you are! "
