"A massive thank you to Ruby for organising ‘Entertaining in the Crescent’ last Sunday. Ruby as joined by Tommy Harper, Teresa Reza Farrell and Andy Whitehouse (as Elvis) who entertained locals with renditions of classic songs from down the ages. "Although not 5 piece as requested, 4 piece was more than sufficient. (It saved £100 as well). We did dances not done before plus two/ three favourites so really good. The calling was good and as usual patience was required in sorting out the muddles!! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, so a big thank you to the DGB ceilidh band and we would definitely recommend them and have them again."

Even people who did not want to take part in the dancing said that they so enjoyed watching and listening to the music. When we need top class performers in the south of England Ceilimax are always high on the list. In the world of folk and traditional music you need to be careful: there are alot of ‘pretenders to the the throne’.
