"Mark and his band played last night for my birthday party and they were fantastic, they quickly had everyone up on there feet, nobody wanted the night to end, we could of danced all through the night if we were allowed! Number one complaint about the night from friends today, was how there legs hurt so much today from all the dancing! Mark and his band were highly professional and there sound was fantastic, thank you so much Party Sound for making my evening so special. We would highly recommend this band to anyone and will know doubt ask them to play for us again in the future."

"We hired It's No Reel Ceilidh Band for our wedding reception in May 2013, and were absolutely delighted with their professionalism, musicianship and the all round show. We appreciated their promptness and efficiency at responding to our queries and questions prior to wedding, and in fact, hiring them was one of the most stress-free and easiest parts of planning our wedding. Our guests were a mixture of seasoned Ceilidhers and complete novices, and everyone commented on how good the band were and what a great evening of dancing it was (the music, dancing and calling were excellent). As someone who took part in many Ceilidh's as a teenager, I have high expectations of what a ceilidh band should sound like, and these were met and far exceeded by Tom and the boys. We would heartily recommend 'It's No Reel' to anyone planning a Ceilidh no matter what the occasion. Thanks for a fabulous and memorable evening of dancing."

"What a fantastic band! These lovely people played and called the ceilidh at our wedding. They made the guests feel at ease, the instructions were brilliantly clear and they were very accommodating and flexible to our requests. One of our groomsmen is a ceilidh caller and they graciously allowed him to call for a song which meant the world to us. They were communicative and helpful and even organised an exit dance for us! We were struck by their positivity and kindness and greatly appreciated their part in our special day. Thank you Storm Band! "

"Each year our section hold a rally. Each year we visit a different location alternating between the UK and Europe. It was my turn to organise a weeks rally in the UK, and I chose the Two Bridges Hotel near Princetown as our base. We needed some form of entertainment for our Gala Night. Our group are in the in main middle fifties and some over eighty so the last thing we need was a rock group. I had some opposition when I suggested a Folk group but I prevailed and have to say that tracking down a band was in the area was extremely difficult. Typing a search in Google for local folk groups resulted in names almost everywhere except in the West Country. Eventually I contacted Blue Jewel and Steve convinced me that they could adapt to our needs. Every single person enjoyed the groups performance, there were 62 people there and almost every single one said how much they enjoyed the group. As the organiser I was greatly impressed by the way they accommodated our requirements and we had a brilliant night. Thank you Blue Jewel Chris. "Just a short email to say many thanks for the music and dancing on Saturday at Childerley. I hope you could tell we all had a great time - were we any less competent than most people at the dancing?? As far as I know, only one person fell over, and we have to blame too much champagne for that. The whole event went fantastically well, and your part in it was much appreciated. Should the opportunity arise, we will book your group again, and recommend you if we know of anyone else having a “do” in your area. A lot of fun was had by both dancers and spectators. "
