"We absolutely loved having Black Velvet Band play our wedding ceilidh at Clearwell Castle. My husband is from Scotland so we wanted a traditional Scottish ceilidh feel with some of the classics, and we were not disappointed! We had a good feeling about Black Velvet band from the moment we booked them - and sure enough, Mike and the guys were absolutely fantastic and made our evening party a huge success. The band were great and the instructions on the ceilidh dances were so helpful; even those of our party who may not have normally danced were up there loving life on the dancefloor. The fun and friendly atmosphere they created was just fab and so different from your ‘usual’ evening do. All our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the ceilidh and some said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We would 100% book the band again and recommend them to friends. "Kellys Heroes performed a Ceilidh and played some of their amazing songs at our wedding in March 2019. We had previously seen them perform in Nottingham at the City Arts Folk Proms, and had initially only intended to have a Ceilidh, though after hearing Tony's vocals, we knew that our wedding guests would love to hear them as well! The entire band are so friendly, helpful and accommodating, and were amazing at our wedding. We highly recommend you to book Kellys Heroes for any events you may have - they will not disappoint! Everyone loved them at our wedding, and are still talking about them!"

"The beautiful music from Oysland created a palpable sense of excitement and joy among the guests that set the tone for the entire day. It was amazing walking down the aisle to Lori's lovely voice, and we could tell that all of the band had put so much effort into making sure everything was perfect. Everyone said that the music was on a different level, even the registrar, who must have heard a lot of wedding music. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts - and we will recommend you to anyone who is having a simcha!"

"The Black Velvet Band Trio were extremely talented musicians who delivered a good range of Irish tunes to a very high standard. Overall they provided a great night’s entertainment, and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to hold an Irish themed night. Unfortunately we were not allowed dancing due to Covid restrictions, once these are lifted the night would be even better."

"I booked Whisky & Ginger for my Gran and Grandad's wedding anniversary party and they were absolutely great! From our first interaction, they were super professional and really put my mind at ease with everything else I had to organise. I truly felt I could just leave them to get on with it and not have to worry. And I was right! They arrived on the day, set-up super quickly and super subtly. We were a bit delayed with our timings of other events during the day and they were so helpful and willing to adapt and delay what they had planned. They even took some last minute requests from us on the day and included them in their set which really made it special for my Gran as they were able to perform her favourite song. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone thinking about booking, they were totally professional, entertaining and fun!!!! Thank you again!!!!!"

"Georgia is a very fine guitarist and has a great voice which is warm and appealing. Georgia is an excellent solo performer who can deliver a great 'unplugged' style performance anywhere around the vessel. She delivers 100% on every performance and interacts brilliantly with her audience both on and off stage. Georgia knows how to read a room well, and has an extensive repertoire of songs to choose from, all of which are popular hits that are favorites amongst our guests. Her charismatic personable demeanor creates a great vibe in the room and really engages the audience. Georgia has an excellent voice with a wide vocal range and quality that suits many different song styles, plus she uses loops very effectively to fill out her sound and give her freedom to interact more with her audience without having to worry about constantly supporting her vocals with the guitar. "The ceilidh band were amazing! Our gala evening was especially for a group of 10 year olds but adults attended too. The caller, Mick, explained the steps clearly for them to follow, and used children and adults to demonstrate so they could follow. The music was lively, loud and energetic and everyone got up to dance! We have booked the band before and I would definitely book the band again. Thank you for making our evening such a great success."
