"As soon as we found Stargazers, we knew we had to book them straight away… and we certainly weren’t disappointed. Their talent, energy and professionalism shone through in every song they performed. And every song was perfect! Phoebe’s voice… just wow! The setlist was amazing, including our choices and their own (expertly chosen by the band to keep the party going until the very end). Every step of the booking process ran smoothly, and Rhona’s communications leading up to the event were brilliant and really put us at ease. On the night, everything was perfect, and the band were professional, courteous and entertaining at all times while setting up, sound checking, performing, and breaking down. Every single person was on their feet dancing. And everyone was asking about the band and saying how amazing they were! We wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book Stargazers. "

"Georgia is a very fine guitarist and has a great voice which is warm and appealing. Georgia is an excellent solo performer who can deliver a great 'unplugged' style performance anywhere around the vessel. She delivers 100% on every performance and interacts brilliantly with her audience both on and off stage. Georgia knows how to read a room well, and has an extensive repertoire of songs to choose from, all of which are popular hits that are favorites amongst our guests. Her charismatic personable demeanor creates a great vibe in the room and really engages the audience. Georgia has an excellent voice with a wide vocal range and quality that suits many different song styles, plus she uses loops very effectively to fill out her sound and give her freedom to interact more with her audience without having to worry about constantly supporting her vocals with the guitar. "I hired the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for a party I was having (for its own sake!). I made initial contact with Kip online since I live in China and was arranging the party for when I would be at home in the summer. Kip was easy to deal with and the booking was arranged with just a few short emails. On the night, Kip and the rest of the band turned up with the same sense of ease and informality. They provided us with a fantastic night of entertainment with Kip giving clear instructions for the dances as caller. I would thoroughly recommend the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for their quality musicianship, their excellent rates and for their warm and friendly service."

"Thanks once again for playing at our event. The band was brilliant and your voice was amazing. I particularly like the way you guys adapted each set to the needs of the event. Your sound engineer, Remko constantly adapted the set up and sound to make sure that it sounded great around the whole venue. "The event was a huge success, the band arrived in plenty of time to set up and entertained early guests with background music before the main event. They managed to get all our guests up and dancing - I have never been to a dance where the men had to dance together - but they were all so keen to join in. I would have no hesitation to book through LMM again, and Craigi Ceilidh band would be my first choice."

"The Black Velvet Band provided us with a fantastic ceilidh for our wedding reception. They really got everyone up and moving, so much better than a boring DJ set. They were even accommodating to our more inebriated guests and explained the dance moves clearly. We had a wonderful time and would consider them again for future parties."

"The best night ever!! Everyone said it was the best night out and the most fun they'd ever had. Tom and the boys were brilliant and a great deal of patience when we were doing the wrong steps. The dance floor was full of guests all night. We would highly recommend these guys and really appreciate the journey they made to come all the way down to us in Lincolnshire.
