"The band set up according to the plan that had been agreed and once the music got underway, the dance floor was packed for the whole night. Some of our guests had never been to this type of evening before and all we had back was extremely positive comments about the band and of the whole evening, which was to celebrate our daughter’s 30th Birthday. The band was an integral part of the night and made the night go with a swing. Well worth the 5***** GEOFF WARNER"

"We needed a to book a last-minute Bluegrass band for a country & western themed event for one of our clients. Lilac was accommodating and made sure the band and musicians were arranged and arrived in plenty time to allow for rehearsals. Bluegrass With Us performed well and included a line dance instructor. Overall we had a successful night and a satisfied client. I would recommend their services. Thank you again."

"Debi and the girls were superb. They arrived on time and were very easy and pleasant to deal with. The girls looked the part and were full of fun. Their enthusiasm was infectious. Everyone joined in and had a really good time. The music was excellent. 10 out of 10 for a great performance!"

"Paul was recommended to us by a former colleague. He provided a strong three-piece band to lead a ceilidh at our wedding reception. For an intergenerational group of mixed-ability dancers (including some with no ability) he was encouraging, clear in his verbal instructions, and the band uplifting and rhythmic. Just about everybody participated in the dancing at some point or another in the evening, and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Communication with Paul at all stages was straightforward and easy, and I would heartily recommend him and his ensemble should anybody be considering commissioning a ceilidh!"

"Blue Jewel played at my husbands 60th birthday. Everything from the initial enquiry was straightforward and hassle free. They were fantastic musicians, good fun and Kipp as caller was easy to understand and follow and everyone had a fabulous time. We have had so many comments since the night about how enjoyable it was. "We wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the band for playing at our wedding last weekend. You were absolutely brilliant!! You played some of the family favourites just beautifully and absolutely filled the dance floor for our (ahem – unofficial) ceilidh. We had so much fun dancing the night away. I understand one of the 3 year old cousins asked you to play one of the tunes again – I suspect that is a moment that will go down in family history. Also – thank you so much for all your help before the wedding – I’m notoriously bad at returning phone calls and you were fantastic at staying in touch and keeping on top of communication – I really appreciated that."

"The ceilidh band were amazing! Our gala evening was especially for a group of 10 year olds but adults attended too. The caller, Mick, explained the steps clearly for them to follow, and used children and adults to demonstrate so they could follow. The music was lively, loud and energetic and everyone got up to dance! We have booked the band before and I would definitely book the band again. Thank you for making our evening such a great success."

"I just wanted to write to say thank you so much for yesterday evening, I have had so many messages since saying how much they all enjoyed it and have now had requests for a reeling club at school and also 3 of those older (naughty!) boys asking about your details as they would like to have a reeling party! I think my mission was to convert a few people so job done I’d say. You were very patient with us all!"

"Lucy and Jack were amazing at our wedding. Everything we could have hoped for. They were great at learning my song requests for the whole day. Very reasonably priced for the incredible service they provide. Intimate and happy atmosphere created by their beautiful voices and musical talents! Completely perfected the musical genres we wanted of modern country and pop, with couple of older songs too. For any brides out there I highly recommend Lucy and Jack, and to have live singer whilst walking down the aisle, it was one of the most memorable parts of my day. "
