"We had a wedding party which included visitors from Australia, several European countries, the south of England as well as Scots. It's No Reel Ceilidh Band made sure that everyone had the chance to learn the dances and the great atmosphere they generated made sure we all had a fantastic time. Their take on the progressive barn Dance was very entertaining. Tom could not have been more helpful with the arrangements beforehand, as well as on the night itself, and everyone was very complimentary about the music."

"We are so grateful to Black Velvet Ceilidh Trio for making our fundraising ceilidh a great success with delightful music and dancing. The level of challenge of the dances was pitched just right to tempt our guests (who were aged from 4 to 84) to have a go – and they all came away with big smiles on their faces! Phil – the band’s friendly caller – gave just the right amount of instruction and then a quick recap before each dance and was happy to adapt dances to suit some of the children. Arrangements and payment were all handled professionally and efficiently. Thank you so much for helping us raise over £300 for our cause!"

"I hired the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for a party I was having (for its own sake!). I made initial contact with Kip online since I live in China and was arranging the party for when I would be at home in the summer. Kip was easy to deal with and the booking was arranged with just a few short emails. On the night, Kip and the rest of the band turned up with the same sense of ease and informality. They provided us with a fantastic night of entertainment with Kip giving clear instructions for the dances as caller. I would thoroughly recommend the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for their quality musicianship, their excellent rates and for their warm and friendly service."

"Everyone loved the music so much! We just wanted to say thank you to you and the band for last Saturday! (30th September 2023 Saturday St Stephens, Pond Street, Hampstead, London, NW3 2PP) Everyone loved the music so much! Apologies for any confusion over your location, it was meant to be inside but it was /such a nice day I think Patrick and Angie directed you outside which worked anyway. I wasn’t sure if you guys had any of the canapés, I did ask them to make sure you had some but I didn’t hear you have a break either so apologies if you didn’t. Absolutely brilliant and such lovely people too. We booked wraggle taggle for our wedding, Mick was responsive, organised and gave us plenty of options regarding instruments, set times etc. On the day the band were brilliant, all the guests loved them, and they were really friendly lovely people. "Following many hours of researching for a ceilidh band for our wedding (August 2021), we decided on Blue Jewel. After an evening of brilliant music, lively calling and enthusiastic dancing, we now simply cannot recommend them enough. They are an incredibly friendly group who worked in partnership with us on the day to help create an evening that we will never forget. With a series of different dances (led by clear and directive calling), all creating a sea of smiles and energy, they are an incredibly talented group. And even despite a slight delay in the timings (from our side), they were both patient and understanding. "
