"Very many thanks to your lovely band who played at my party on Saturday night - we all had a great time and the band sounded wonderful. Could you also thank the caller (I'm terribly sorry I can't remember her name) who coped with a tough crowd admirably - she had to deal with folk who knew very well what they were doing, complete novices and everything in between, along with some wee ones. She did a grand job, thank you."

"The musicians were fantastic (2nd November 2019 Saturday Fletchers Lea, Ware Priory, High Street, Ware, Hertfordshire SG12 9AL). Turned up when they said they would and were very accommodating. Margaret was great at encouraging the reticent and showing how to do the dances. Everyone had great fun and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of a ceilidh. "Thank you all very much for coming to play at The Royal Thames last evening – the music was excellent – as was the address and grace – thank you Stuart for helping us out on that too!  And Jill you were amazing to keep control of such an unruly bunch – the older ones as well as the young – and stop it descending into chaos!!  Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it made a very happy evening with families and age groups.  I think certain people may find it difficult to get up for work this morning!"
