A virtuosic guitarist from an accomplished folk/bluegrass band has a duet with his new bass player!
We perform a lot of the same classic Irish, Scottish, Americana, Rock 'n Roll classics, both singing lead and backing. Also include some soul and jazz repertoire.
Regularly perform around the UK from rowdy Irish pubs to weddings to birthday parties to calm retirement dinners.
Vintage tunes for a vintage pair. From Mississippi John Hurt to Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline to Dolly Parton, Loch Lomond to Spancil Hill.
Jen can play her double bass or the bass guitar. More modern soul tunes when the bass guitar comes out.

As a full band, we love playing Jamboree in Kings Cross, Green Note in Camden, Bear Club Luton. As a duo we love the rowdy messy atmosphere of Gibneys Irish pub in Old Street.
Jen is most influenced by Elton John, Dolly Parton, Doris Day, the Beatles. Ben is obsessed with the Dubliners, the Pogues, Jimi Hendrix, Tony Rice, and Bach.
Ben went to the Royal Academy as a jazz player and started the Thumping Tommys band there nearly two decades ago.
Jen recently joined the Tommys, having studied vocals at BIMM London then going on to pursue bass playing for indie rock bands, Queen tributes, and various function and session work across the country.
Together they have been playing since the pandemic when Ben recruited Jen to play and sing with him on some of his original work, then taught her the ropes of his folk/bluegrass livelihood.
We love a rowdy party crowd, but we enjoy an attentive dinner audience as well to really delve into our softer repertoire.
