Sarah-Jane is a world renowned expert in Scottish traditional music and the songs and poetry of Robert Burns.
She can provide traditional entertainment for Burns Night, New Year and St Andrew's night.
Born in Glasgow and brought up surrounded by the songs and music of her homeland, she can bring a taste of Scotland to any event. She has performed for Homecoming Scotland (Visit Scotland), at the Caledonian Club in London and for the Burns Federation for the 200th Anniversary Concert commemorating Burns Death in Dumfries.
Sarah-Jane has given recitals at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Banqueting House, Whitehall, in Russia (Moscow and Tver), Dulwich Picture Gallery, Hammerwood Park, Leighton House and Lauderdale House and for numerous music clubs and private clients throughout the country.
She studied at the Guildhall School of Music and the Britten-Pears School in Aldeburgh.
She has also performed at the Royal Albert Hall, St John’s, Smith Square, Purcell Room, Wigmore Hall, British Museum, Kensington Palace, Amberley Castle, Dorking Halls, Snape Maltings and with English National Opera, Wexford Festival Opera, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, London Opera Players, English Touring Opera and on numerous occasions for the National Trust. She has also been a featured artist on Celtic Radio FM.
