Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

We're fully equipped for any performance, bringing our own PA system and lighting rig to every gig

What information do you require about a venue?

Please provide directions to the venue, including specific load-in instructions. Also, please let us know if there's a sound limiter.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

We're happy to provide music from Spotify before, after, and between sets, either based on your preferences or our own selection.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

We've had so many incredible experiences. It's hard to top the energy of a packed wedding reception where everyone is singing and dancing along with us. We've had some amazing nights like that where the dance floor was full from the first song to the last.

As for venues, we've been lucky to play some really cool places. Performing at festivals like Isle of White and GuilFest was definitely a highlight. The crowds are always up for a good time, and there's just a special buzz in the air. But honestly, any venue where the audience is loving the music and having fun is the best venue for us!

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Our influences are all over the place, which you can probably tell from our massive repertoire! We all grew up listening to soul legends like Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and Marvin Gaye. Those classic Motown grooves and powerful vocals are a huge part of our sound. Of course, we also love modern artists like Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, and Amy Winehouse who have brought soul and R&B to a new generation.

Picking a favorite artist is like picking a favorite child! It's impossible. But "Respect" by Aretha Franklin has to be up there for the greatest song of all time. That song is pure power and emotion, and it never fails to get the crowd going.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We've all been playing music for years, honing our skills at places like the Brit School and BIMM. Some of us have even toured with big names like Emeli Sandé and Little Mix! We came together as Soul Allegiance through The Supreme Collective, and it just clicked. We loved the music, we loved playing together, and the gigs started rolling in. We're so grateful for the opportunity to do what we love!

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

Weddings are always a blast! There's something so special about being part of someone's big day. The atmosphere is always electric, and everyone is there to celebrate and have a good time. We also love playing joint birthday parties where we can get different generations on the dance floor. Seeing everyone from the grandparents to the grandkids singing along to our music is the best feeling!

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Set up time: We like to arrive 2 hours before we need to be set up by. We don't mind arriving early within reason. We also don't want to disturb your guests so we try to be as flexible as possible. We can get setup and sound checked within 1 hour if necessary. For gigs within Greater London it's a 1am finish and for gigs outside of Greater London it's a midnight finish. We can stay on site later than 1am and midnight.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes as long as the weather is suitable or if there is a back up option or cover for the band and the equipment.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

The clients can make suggestions for songs from our repertoire, and we always offer one off the menu request that the band can learn, either as a first dance or to go in the band set.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Our clients consistently praise our ability to create a truly unforgettable atmosphere. They appreciate our flexibility and helpfulness, both leading up to the event and on the day itself. We're especially proud to hear that we consistently deliver performances that exceed expectations and create lasting memories.
