A bit about us: Global Grooves is all about bringing the tropical sunshine vibes straight to your event! We're a collective of seasoned professionals with a shared passion for creating a fun and unforgettable atmosphere. Our band members have graced iconic stages from Wembley to Glastonbury, and collaborated with renowned artists like Maceo Parker and James Taylor Quartet.
Led by the incredible vocal talents of Aisha and Jules, we offer both 5-piece and 6-piece line-ups, complete with infectious energy and a diverse repertoire spanning reggae, pop, soul, and beyond. With over 360 songs to choose from, you can tailor the setlist to perfectly match your event. And because we have multiple musicians for each instrument, you can rest assured that your event will always have a top-notch performance, no matter what.
Beyond our live sets, we can keep the music flowing with complimentary playlists before, between, and after our performances. We even offer reduced rates Sunday to Friday (excluding December) to help make your event even more special.

We come fully equipped with our own professional PA system and lighting rig, ready to transform any venue into a concert experience.
Please provide directions to the venue, including specific load-in instructions. Also, please let us know if there's a sound limiter.
We're happy to provide music from Spotify before, after, and between sets, either based on your preferences or our own selection.
Every event has its own magic. We thrive on the energy of a packed dance floor, whether it's a wedding reception with guests of all ages or a private party where everyone's letting loose. But if we had to pick a favorite venue, it would be a tough call between the legendary Brixton Academy, with its incredible atmosphere, and the iconic Roundhouse, with its rich history and amazing acoustics. Both were unforgettable experiences.
Our influences are as diverse as our repertoire! From reggae legends like Bob Marley and Toots and the Maytals, to soul icons like Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder, to rock gods like Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin, we draw inspiration from a wide range of musical styles. Picking a single favorite artist is like choosing a favorite child! But if we absolutely had to, it would probably be Bob Marley – his music is timeless and his message of love and unity resonates deeply with us. As for the greatest song of all time, that's an impossible question! There are so many contenders, but "No Woman, No Cry" by Bob Marley always holds a special place in our hearts.
Sine a young age we honed our skills through a combination of formal training and self-teaching, and some of us even have prestigious music degrees. We've played with some of the biggest names in the industry, from Maceo Parker to James Taylor Quartet, and graced the stages of major festivals like Glastonbury and Montreux Jazz Festival. Our journey started with small gigs at local pubs and clubs, and through hard work, dedication, and a love for what we do, we gradually built a reputation for delivering unforgettable performances.
We love them all! Weddings are always a joy, with their celebratory atmosphere and the chance to be a part of someone's special day. Private parties are fantastic because they allow us to connect with the audience on a more personal level. And corporate events are always exciting, with their high energy and diverse crowds. Ultimately, our favorite event is one where the dance floor is packed and everyone is having a great time!
We'll be on site for a full 7 hours, from 5pm to midnight, ensuring your event has a fantastic soundtrack from start to finish. Ideally, we require 90 minutes for setup and soundcheck, allowing us to create the perfect atmosphere for your guests.
However, we pride ourselves on being flexible and accommodating. If you have any time constraints, we can be ready to go within an hour if a sound engineer is booked as an add on.
Our performance includes two energetic 60-minute live sets usually from around 8pm, guaranteed to get everyone on the dance floor. In between sets, we'll keep the party vibe going with carefully curated background music, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Yes as long as the weather is suitable or if there is a back up option or cover for the band and the equipment.
The clients can make suggestions for songs from our repertoire, and we always offer a one 'off the menu' request that the band can learn, either as a first dance or to go in the band set.
