We're happy to provide music from Spotify before, after, and between sets, either based on your preferences or our own selection.

We've had incredible experiences performing at iconic venues like Wembley Arena and the Royal Albert Hall, and each festival we've headlined has been unforgettable. The most rewarding gigs are always the ones where we connect with the audience and create a truly memorable atmosphere, like the wedding where the dancefloor was packed all night and guests couldn't stop raving about the music.

Each member of Somerset Soul has a rich musical history, with experience in various bands and projects before coming together. We've honed our skills through rigorous training at prestigious institutions like BIMM and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, and countless performances in diverse settings, from intimate clubs to grand theaters. Our shared passion for live music and creating unforgettable experiences is what ultimately brought us together, allowing us to deliver performances that captivate audiences, just like the wedding where guests were amazed by our ability to switch from ballads to high-energy pop.

We'll be on site for a full 7 hours, from 5pm to midnight, ensuring your event has a fantastic soundtrack from start to finish. Ideally, we require 90 minutes for setup and soundcheck, allowing us to create the perfect atmosphere for your guests.

However, we pride ourselves on being flexible and accommodating. If you have any time constraints, we can be ready to go within an hour if a sound engineer is booked as an add on.

Our performance includes two energetic 60-minute live sets usually from around 8pm, guaranteed to get everyone on the dance floor. In between sets, we'll keep the party vibe going with carefully curated background music, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Yes as long as the weather is suitable or if there is a back up option or cover for the band and the equipment.

The clients can make suggestions for songs from our repertoire, and we always offer a one 'off the menu' request that the band can learn, either as a first dance or to go in the band set.
