"Thank you all so much for playing for our son’s wedding -  we have received so many complements on your playing and Jill’s calling. Even people who did not want to take part in the dancing said that they so enjoyed watching and listening to the music. Basically you wore most people out and they definitely faded when the disco came on, but we soldiered on until midnight! "

"Thank you so much for playing at our wedding - you were fantastic and we had a wonderful time dancing with our guests! The evening was perfect, everything we had wished for. Everyone said how much they enjoyed it and you could really tell from all the laughing and smiling that the guests were having a great time. Some people had never been to a ceilidh before and I think they are now hooked! The music was wonderful and we really appreciated you playing some French folk dances for the French side of the family. From the moment we got in touch with you we knew you were the right band choice, as you were so friendly and professional. You went out of your way to make sure the evening went as planned. Thank you especially for letting us steal you away from your set-up to play us a few maypole tunes and for staying and helping us with the after ceilidh disco. Wishing you lots of good luck in the future and if we ever plan another ceilidh we know who to call!"

"I’d just like to say a massive thank you to Dave, Mike and Gerry who form BM Ceilidh Band. This is the third event that we have booked them for and once again it was a massive success. They are always reliable and turn up on time. They set up the equipment with no fuss and are very adaptable to any type of event whether it be a Burns Night, a Ceilidh, a Wedding or a Birthday Party. Dave is incredibly patient at giving instructions to those who are novice dancers and even goes out onto the dance floor to help people with the dance steps. They cater for all abilities, young and old! Dave encourages people to get up to dance without being too intrusive and has a good sense of humour which makes people laugh and enjoy the night. Everyone who has been to our events where BM Ceilidh Band have played have thoroughly enjoyed themselves and have always been very positive about this band. I would certainly recommend the BM Ceilidh Band for any occasion and will be booking them again in the future."

"I would totally recommend Wraggle Taggle Wraggle Taggle were professional, very accommodating, and went down a treat (9th February 2019 Saturday The King's Royal Hussars Officers' Mess, Tidworth Garrison, Wiltshire, SP9 7BB). They offered both amplified and non-amplified music and using their amplifiers were able to hold a full room of 90 loud and merry party goers. I would totally recommend Wraggle Taggle for any party or event and if the theme lent itself, I would, without doubt, use them again Best wishes Seb Teuber, The King's Royal Hussars 22nd February 2019"

"Thank you all very much for coming to play at The Royal Thames last evening – the music was excellent – as was the address and grace – thank you Stuart for helping us out on that too!  And Jill you were amazing to keep control of such an unruly bunch – the older ones as well as the young – and stop it descending into chaos!!  Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it made a very happy evening with families and age groups.  I think certain people may find it difficult to get up for work this morning!"

"Everyone loved the music so much! We just wanted to say thank you to you and the band for last Saturday! (30th September 2023 Saturday St Stephens, Pond Street, Hampstead, London, NW3 2PP) Everyone loved the music so much! Apologies for any confusion over your location, it was meant to be inside but it was /such a nice day I think Patrick and Angie directed you outside which worked anyway. I wasn’t sure if you guys had any of the canapés, I did ask them to make sure you had some but I didn’t hear you have a break either so apologies if you didn’t. Absolutely brilliant and such lovely people too. We booked wraggle taggle for our wedding, Mick was responsive, organised and gave us plenty of options regarding instruments, set times etc. On the day the band were brilliant, all the guests loved them, and they were really friendly lovely people. "Thursday night was a blast. Couldn’t have gone any better! On Thursday the 25th of January, the Exeter Caledonian Society hosted a Burns Night Ball accompanied by the Black Velvet Band. The band was brilliant. Their musical prowess, stamina and all round musicianship was a joy to work with - and to listen to - making the night ever better. I am so thankful for what they did. The band is easy to work with, knowledgeable about timings and can cater to any requirements. "
