"Rejigged were hired to play at my 50th birthday party. After reading many positive reviews from their website, I was really looking forward to an entertaining evening of music, dance and laughter with my friends and family. They didn’t disappoint! Chris liaised on behalf of the band and kept regular contact, before the event, ensuring he knew exactly how I wanted the evening to pan out. Booking and payment was simple and advice offered to maximise the success of the evening. We had booked the 5 piece Cailidh band, including the caller. The musicians were highly skilled professionals and their choice of music was perfect for the evening. The caller was entertaining and very patient with us dancers, who joined in enthusiastically, if not skilfully! (Let’s face it, going wrong in the dance is half of the fun!) The band played non-stop for one and a half hours, stopped for half an hour for refreshments and then continued for a further hour. It was wonderful to see the enjoyment on everyone’s faces and the atmosphere was full of fun and laughter. The band really made my special birthday an event to remember: they were excellent! If a Ceilidh band is something you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to book Rejigged; you won’t be disappointed, I promise. K.Barker "

"Black Velvet Ceilidh Trio performed at a surprise party for my wife’s 60th Birthday recently. It was intended to be a function at which people could be fully involved and Boy! Did they do just that! I honestly cannot remember such a function where all of the guests were agreed it was an evening to remember that was also such fun. The whole success of the celebration came from the bands active participation and willingness to do everything possible to make the evening into a night to remember. That, they surely did. Thank you Black Velvet Ceilidh Band. You and the band made my wife very, very happy. She will not forget and neither will I. You are indeed very special musicians and very special people. "Excellent acoustic music, perfectly suitable for the small venue we hired. (They also have amplifiers for bigger venues) They played a good variety and took also special requests. Will hire them again, if an other occassion arises."

We had an absolutely amazing time, and lots of the guests have said that they did too. We were really delighted to see so many people dancing, I don't think that anyone was able to restrain themselves. It was just a pity that the whole evening had to come to an end."

"I booked the It's No' Reel Ceilidh Band to play at a Burns event I was hosting in Scotland for an international group of friends, mostly based in Germany. The band quickly gauged the experience of the group and provided a selection of music that ensured everyone enjoy themselves dancing. The dance floor was always packed despite it being most of the guests' first ceilidh. On the practical side they also turned up on time, set up and packed up quickly and without fuss, and coped with our frequent schedule changes on the night with a smile. I would strongly recommend them"

The night was a huge success and that was largely in part of yourselves.
