"Davie, I don’t know where to start by thanking you boys for Friday night. There were over 100 peeps there and I would say nearly everyone has commented on how brilliant you were and how you made the night. Big Andy(the big fat loud boy) thinks you’re even better now compared to the wedding and we thought you were awesome then. Everybody had a great time which is mainly down to you guys. We’ve not stopped talking about it since. Hopefully, our paths will meet to let us get Shoogled once more. Pass our regards to the boys. "The ceilidh band were amazing! Our gala evening was especially for a group of 10 year olds but adults attended too. The caller, Mick, explained the steps clearly for them to follow, and used children and adults to demonstrate so they could follow. The music was lively, loud and energetic and everyone got up to dance! We have booked the band before and I would definitely book the band again. Thank you for making our evening such a great success."

"Barn With Us played at our school charity dinner last weekend and I am going to let the pupils do the talking: Vibrant; great company; made it a lot of fun; great singing and music; the callers explained everything really well and made sure everyone understood what they should do (the dance was demonstrated to me at this time!); lively; really good atmosphere; they were funny; great energy - you get the picture! "Blue Jewel were the best band for my daughter's wedding. They were easy to liaise with ahead of time, and their performance in the evening ceilidh was just what we hoped for. Good music, a lovely relaxed manner from all performers, and patient teaching of the dances to the guests. Our guests did not want them to stop! We would whole-heartedly recommend them for such an occasion. Thank you!"

"We booked the Haystacks for 2 1hr band sets and a DJ set. They were absolutely amazing, all the guests were up dancing and singing along. Rachel was great at keeping in touch leading up to the Wedding and they learnt an Australian song for our first dance and the version was perfect. We would highly recommend. "

"We had our wedding reception some months after the wedding to allow for school holidays. People had braved some horrible Friday travel to get there, it was very hot ..... and then ........ the band started! The kids stopped playing and all wanted to dance, people of all ages got up and everyone had a smile on their faces. Blue Jewel simply made our evening. Steve, deputising as caller was exceptional creating such a rapport, remembering names and full of gentle banter! Oh and soooo patient with us all. We had ages from 6 to 85 on the floor having fun. We can't really praise Blue Jewel enough - except to give our heartfelt thanks! Book Them NOW don't miss out!!!"

"I hired the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for a party I was having (for its own sake!). I made initial contact with Kip online since I live in China and was arranging the party for when I would be at home in the summer. Kip was easy to deal with and the booking was arranged with just a few short emails. On the night, Kip and the rest of the band turned up with the same sense of ease and informality. They provided us with a fantastic night of entertainment with Kip giving clear instructions for the dances as caller. I would thoroughly recommend the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for their quality musicianship, their excellent rates and for their warm and friendly service."

"The Black Velvet Band Trio were extremely talented musicians who delivered a good range of Irish tunes to a very high standard. Overall they provided a great night’s entertainment, and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to hold an Irish themed night. Unfortunately we were not allowed dancing due to Covid restrictions, once these are lifted the night would be even better."
