"Hi Gordon, Just a quick note to say thank you again to you and the bands for the hard work at our wedding at Shortflatt Tower, I hope that we did not cause you too much stress with the slightly delayed schedule and the last-minute RSVP song-lists! The bands, both the ceilidh and the party band, sounded great and had people dancing which is all that we wanted. "We booked blue jewel for a 70th birthday party. I cannot recommend them enough. They were professional when setting up, great musicians, motivated everyone to join in. They played 2 good length sets and everyone at the party commented on how good they were. "I hired the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for a party I was having (for its own sake!). I made initial contact with Kip online since I live in China and was arranging the party for when I would be at home in the summer. Kip was easy to deal with and the booking was arranged with just a few short emails. On the night, Kip and the rest of the band turned up with the same sense of ease and informality. They provided us with a fantastic night of entertainment with Kip giving clear instructions for the dances as caller. I would thoroughly recommend the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for their quality musicianship, their excellent rates and for their warm and friendly service."

"We had an amazing night thanks to Blue Jewel. Our international students had never seen or heard of a ceilidh before, but after a little convincing they joined in with the first dance. By the time it came to the second dance, they all wanted to join in and then danced for hours. The band were so great at explaining what to do, especially to students who are learning English, and making them laugh - plus playing wonderful lively music! "
