"The Blue Jewel Ceilidh band played at our rugby club on Friday 13th Feb. Although we didn't have a great turnout to the event, Steve took control of the limited numbers and was still able to make the night work. Everyone who came said how much fun they had had and can't wait for the next one. Steve's calling was clear and the music played was brilliant. I would highly recommend these guys for a fun night, no issues and Steve keeps you updated via email. Thanks Steve, Aaron and Mike for travelling so far to make our night so much fun! Leanne"

"Crimson Sky played at our wedding and I have to say they were absolutely fantastic, the atmosphere they created really made the evening with three perfectly balanced sets. We have had wonderful comments about the music and the superb calling. I have even had a request for the details so a birthday party can be booked in plenty of time! "We had a really great evening. The musicians were very friendly and accommodating. When some of our guests were late arriving because of the dreaded road closure and subsequent diversions, they adapted their sets to suit our timings and many non-dancers were encouraged to get up and shake a leg. Everyone said how much they enjoyed themselves and we would certainly recommend and use them again."

"I am so pleased that we found Danny. We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday with a party in the garden. Dan was the epitome of professionalism. He's a really likeable, gentle person with heaps of talent. Some of my guests arrived late but Dan was very accommodating, holding off and waiting until the vibe was right. The music was perfect. My two daughters wanted to sing their Dad a song and he happily obliged, learning the music and playing along with them. It was a beautiful, magical evening made even more memorable by Dan. "

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio / Georgia's Wedding Ceilidh / October 2024 It was so much fun to have the trio along and they were so clear with their instructions that even the French at our wedding could follow along. Mike’s communication was superb and at one point extremely helpful by replying quickly with a key document, as we dealt with a problem with our venue. Thank you all."

"Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band were fantastic! From first point of contact by email, we found them to be helpful, flexible and professional. And then on the night they were all these things again and brilliant musicians with an excellent caller in Kip. He was so patient and fun. What we particularly appreciated was that Kip encouraged people to join in but didn't harangue or hassle anyone. He showed people what to do and ribbed some of the larger than life characters, which all added to the friendly warmth of the occasion. For anyone who isn't sure about having a ceilidh at a wedding, we would recommend this band as a brilliant introduction. My husband wasn't sure because he didn't want to feel forced to dance as he only usually does this when he's had several pints of beer. But we found Blue Jewel to be really encouraging, without being pushy and everyone joined in. It's really inclusive and a way of getting all ages up and dancing together. We were so pleased because our teenagers loved it too and no-one worried about being 'cool'. It's a very natural and traditional way of letting your hair down, mixing with everyone and having a good laugh. We would highly recommend this band."

"This band played at my mother's 70th birthday party. They were excellent. Really accommodating, enthusiastic and friendly. Nearly everyone got up and had a dance, and had great fun (even the self-proclaimed non-dancers). I couldn't recommend them more. "
