"When my mum passed away I knew I'd need live Irish music at the church and later at the wake. I came across Kindred Spirit duo on this site . They could not have been more perfect. Elaine on vocals and guitar was excellent and Martin on fiddle was outstanding, too. Their music was acoustic in the church when they played Lord of the Dance. It was exactly what I'd hoped for. At the venue they played a great variety of songs, including traditional and more modern, for example, The Corrs. The guests enjoyed their music and many guests took their details to book them for future events. They definitely made my mum's wake extra special - and memorable. Kindred Spirit Duo are friendly, eminently professional and very talented. In addition, they were very sensitive to the occasion. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you Elaine and Martin!"

"I should say how much I enjoyed the ceilidh and your superb playing. It was a delight to both listen and dance to. You all have an extraordinary ability to drive the music whilst retaining an intricate coherence to it all – quite remarkable when you play without drums. "We booked It's No' Reel for our wedding at Balbirnie House in June 2015. We decided on them because of how good they sounded on their YouTube clips (their Game of Thrones theme was a real head turner!), the fact they didn't have a piper or an accordion (which we wanted to avoid) and their price. Tom who deals with the bookings was very professional and keen to tailor the evening to our needs. The minimum is a three piece with the option of adding other pieces as you like. We opted for a second violin as we thought the two violins together sounded awesome! The band offer ceilidh for as much of the night as you want, and after that they are happy to hook up their computer to the PA system and play a DJ set. We liked having the option in case our guests weren't feeling the ceilidh. As it was, we were having such a great time that we ceilidh-ed all night! It was an amazing night, made by the quality playing. Let's also not forget the quality calling so all the guests knew what they were doing! We have had so many compliments about the band's playing since the wedding. Thanks so much to you guys. Just great musicians who put the reel into our reception!"

You gauged the mood of the evening and the company perfectly and have had lots of positive feedback. I hope you had a good trip back to Glasgow and perhaps you could drop an e-mail next time you are playing In the city. "Wraggle Taggle were fantastic for my birthday party at Alexandra Park School. Mick was a great communicator leading up to the event and made me feel reassured that everything was well-planned. The music was excellent and the caller made sure that we all had a great time joining in although most of us were unfamiliar with the dances beforehand. Some of the comments I received from friends were "it made me feel young again!" and "I haven't had so much fun for a long time!" Thank you to Mick and the band for a wonderful evening! "

"Wow - what can I say?! After a stressful morning not knowing if the groom was going to make the wedding due to a sudden case of norovirus we were having to change the timings and be as flexible as possible. We were an hour late starting our first dance but the band didn’t complain and just went with it. They are even better live and made our evening celebrations despite my husband not being able to stay up - I partied for the both of us! So many people commented on how good they were and we will certainly be hiring again for our big milestone birthdays! Thank you so much Crimson Sky! "
