"Glyn was amazing from start to finish. He was so accommodating and gave us ideas for our wedding idea. It was such a beautiful day and he offered to pipe our guests from the church to the reception venue which added such a lovely touch to it all. Our guests loved him too. "We decided to honour our mums heritage with a piper playing at her funeral.Mums was from the Isle of Islay and the particular piece we wanted played is a memory from her homeland . Unfortunately George hadn’t played ‘Westering Home ‘before but this remarkable musician said he could learn it before the funeral.George was absolutely amazing .He played it perfectly along with Amazing Grace and Flower of Scotland .Our undertaker said he’d been attending funerals for over 25 years and had never heard a piper like George.He said he was best he’d ever heard ,high praise indeed and so well deserved.Thank you George you have left us with a very special memory on such a sad day ."

"Chris came to play his pipes for our family gathering at Abbotsford House in Melrose in August 2022. He played for around 45 minutes and we were absolutely delighted with his performance. As well as playing many of the usual pipe tunes, Chris was also happy to play a few requests such as the Skye Boat song and Mull of Kintyre. Chris was a real professional: communication before the event was very easy and responsive, and on the day he travelled from Glasgow to be with us, arriving perfectly on time. Chris was immaculately turned out, and was happy to stay on for photos and chatting at the end of his set. Chris is very personable and professional, I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a piper for a family or professional gathering."
