About / Biography

Keith is an accomplished Highland piper who has been featured in the highly prestigious “Piping Times” magazine 7 times (including 3 front covers).


Keith is a former British diplomat who has performed at countless Embassy functions internationally. He plays at festivals, theatres, balls, weddings, funerals, corporate events, dinners, Burns Suppers and St Andrews Nights.


He has piped at stately homes, museums, cathedrals, churches, castles and reenactments and in movies. He was awarded a Certificate of Grateful Recognition for piping at the Platinum Jubilee of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

He is a Finalist in this year's Scottish Wedding Awards, "Piper of the Year" category.


Keith has also piped an international football team on their way to a World Cup and been chosen as the Official piper for the Flying Scotsman at Severn Valley Railway.

He appears in the feature film, "The Reverend and Mrs Simpson".

His appearance in the Sidemen video "Throw a Dart and Go Where It Lands" has been viewed over 14 million times on YouTube.

He has 2 critically acclaimed Bagpipe albums, “Facing North”and “Burning Sands” available on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.


Keith tours Scotland regularly and can frequently be seen piping at prestigious National Trust for Scotland and Historic Scotland sites as well as at English Heritage and CADW venues.


His National press coverage includes BBC television appearances and radio interviews, the “Scottish Field” magazine and many local newspaper articles.


His diplomatic background and expert knowledge of protocol and etiquette combined with his musical ability, make Keith the ideal choice to enhance your special event.
