"It is hard to express how wonderful our evening was with The Cutting Edge Big Band. We held a Gatsby/1920s-themed dinner and dance for the University of Oxford Development & Alumni Engagement Office Christmas party at one of Oxford's many colleges and were lucky enough to have The Cutting Edge Big Band play for us after dinner. There really aren't enough superlatives to express how brilliant the band was and how much joy their performance brought to our evening. Their set list was perfect for the event, the vocalist(s) that joined them were out of this world and the energy and charisma of the band as a whole was fantastic. It was, by far, the highlight of the night for many and the performance added an extra layer of sparkle and glam to our event that made it go down in history as one of (if not THE) best Christmas party many of our department had ever attended - and some of my lovely colleagues have been with the University for over a decade! On top of the truly phenomenal music and atmosphere, their coordinator was a joy to work with: very clear and succinct regarding what they needed and incredibly willing to be as flexible as possible to ensure that they could play for us. On the night itself they were equally as flexible and even cut down their own break time when we ran late so that we didn't miss out on any music - not that I want to set any precedents for them, but it was quite extraordinary and truly appreciated given that the timekeeping issues were entirely of our own making. I would highly recommend them for any and all events and genuinely hope that I will have an excuse to work with them again one day in (the not-too-distant) future - or at the very least attend another performance in Oxford at some other lucky venue! Having them play for us was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. "

"Hiya! We were let down last minute by our previous band and I was recommended 'The RockPins' by our venue (Lympne castle). I am so glad our other band cancelled!!! The RockPins were absolutely fab and really made our wedding. Almost all of our guests commented on how good the band was! They are very professional, yet still willing to talk to drunk uncles about music!!! Thanks guys!! Mr and Mrs Templeton."

"The band was good and up to the expectations, our guests enjoyed the set and danced the whole night. The band is discrete and does not interact much with the crowd, but they are professional and the music selection is great. We were satisfied with our night, thanks to the band!"

"Henry Marten's Ghost played at the evening reception for our wedding on the 25th August 2018 and were a huge success. Even though few of our guests were knowledgeable about Irish Folk music we had numerous people telling us how fantastic they were. If you’re interested in booking them you can do the same as us and listen to samples and watch videos on Youtube etc. but actually that doesn’t do much to show the atmosphere that they create. Patrick is a real character and has obviously been in the business for a long time and is very good at tweaking his playlist based on audience reaction. Whilst our guests were really enjoying the outstanding musicianship and music for the first half hour or so we did see a reluctance for people to fill the dance floor. That all changed though and Patrick probably regretted our guests losing their inhibitions as our Irish dancing was truly appalling – all our guests had a great time though so that’s all that counts! Thanks again. "

"The acoustic duo Debbie And Fernando" performed at our restaurant café, 269 Vegan in Perth. Their choice of setlist was ideal for the venue and created a friendly and melodic atmosphere that really entertained our customers. Throughout their set, they were professional while at the same time being warm and welcoming to new arrivals. I would highly recommend this acoustic act for events and functions."
