Whether trio or quartet, instrumental or with a vocalist, Tzigauners bring a lively and sophisticated sound to your event. We are a ensemble of professional musicians with a shared love of the early European swing popularised by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. Our standard quartet features violin, two guitars and double bass, however we also offer other line-ups featuring smaller or larger ensembles and with other instruments such as accordion, and with the addition of a vocalist.

Our repertoire is chiefly made up of swing era jazz standards and Reinhardt/Grappelli compositions – although we often play more contemporary repertoire in the swing style: this includes anything from Billy Joel to the Beatles to Paloma Faith and even some classic movie themes! We are always happy to take requests, too.
