"I hired The Haystacks to play at my 40th birthday after seeing them perform at a friend's wedding. I would highly recommend them as they play a wide range of popular music from different decades, with the possibility of learning a favourite song to make your occasion extra special. Many popular pop songs work in there soft rock/country style as well as the more obvious classics. For example Lady Gaga Bad Romance I preferred to the pop original. So they are a good choice for a party of all ages covering many music genres."

"Many thanks to you and all of DGB band for the energy and skill you brought to Saturday`s ceilidh. The band made the music seem effortless and you got people dancing without realising they'd been organised into it. Many thanks!"

"Just outstanding! Utterly professional from the first contact to the end of the wedding party, the Blue Jewel was a component that I really did not have to worry about and boy, did they deliver! The guests had a fabulous time; so much laughter and joy down to the littlest people! Great clear calling, never patronising, using our names and lots of lovely personal touches by Kip, who is a superb caller. The band showed great musicianship and were a complete asset. Lots of guests commented how good they were and what a great time they had at the Ceilidh. I recommend Blue Jewel without any reservation."

"If you’re looking for a band who can come onstage to a marquee full of people quietly chatting and drinking and within minutes turn them into full-scale dance Machine with everybody in the place laughing and enjoying themselves, Then I think The Blaggers might be the act for you. Guests at our event (held to raise funds to prevent the destruction of a greenbelt zone) ranged from 20s to 60s, But all were captivated by the humour professionalism and generally good time emanating from rom the band. I am a professional filmmaker and have shot an l lot of promo videos for bands, from Euorope (yep, “the final countdown”) to Paul Young to AC/DC, and The Blaggers have that same charismatic quality that you see in all these massively successful bands. For a 3 piece they also a pack a monster sound, and over the course of three sets in one evening they played not only the Gay Gordons and other traditional stuff but also sex and drugs and rock’n’ roll and people are strange by the doors – not something you hear from average ceilidh band. I would highly recommend them if you’re having any kind of function we want to get the whole crowd involved. Oh and did I mention they’re very nice guys as well?"

"It was great to see you and the band at Radley last week, and can I just say once again how much I enjoyed your music that evening. I've danced to your band a number of times but never have I heard such great tunes"

"Thanks so much for last Saturday - the band were fantastic and the caller was so lovely in the way she gently got so many people involved - particularly loved the way she drew the Children in ! You managed to get several people dancing who had never danced at a barn dance before and one person said ' I never dance at weddings , but this seemed so friendly and fun I thought I'd have a go - particularly when I saw their name was two left feet cos that's me!' You created just the atmosphere we were hoping for and we also had several comments about how good the musicians were - and that came from people who are accomplished musicians themselves. So many thanks to all the band! "

"I have been booking Barley Shakers in my Pub, as part of our live music schedule, since they formed last year. A very professional set-up, they always over deliver and have a canny knack of really getting the crowd dancing and jigging in the Pub. They work very well for me in my little Pub venue, but I have also seen them perform at much bigger events and they were spot on there to. Book them and you won’t be disappointed."

"As a passionate fan of Irish folk music, my daughters arranged for Paul Brennan band to come and play at my 60th birthday party as a surprise. They didn't dissapont , with a brilliant selection of Irish music and songs it was lovely evening. Paul's mastering of the Ulian pipes has to be seen to be believed. They were very friendly and played everything we asked for. I would definitely book them again."

"Thank you all so much for adding to the enjoyment of the reception following my daughter’s recent wedding. It was wonderful to see so many of our guests up on their feet joining in – even so called ‘non-dancers’! We are delighted to have booked you for our Ceilidh and would be happy to recommend you to others."

"We were absolutely delighted. The whole thing was 'just right' and exactly what we were hoping for, including the type of dances and the calling. I have been receiving only positive feedback about it all. In fact our members are saying that it's the best Spring Celebration we've ever had. The non-dancers enjoyed it too as they were happy just listening to the music and watching the rest of us prancing about. Well done and thanks to all of you, Jackie (Chair of Brunswick, West Hove & Portslade U3A) March 2017."

"Dear Mick, many thanks for Sunday (20th October 2013 (trio) The Provenance, 62 High Street, Colliers Wood, SW19 2BY) and being so flexible. We all loved the band and apologies for such cramped conditions. Best Wishes The Baroness McDonagh (life peer in the House of Lords) 22nd October 2013"

"We just wanted to say a huge thank you for the ceilidh on Saturday night. You and Sarah were fantastic and thank you for getting everyone up and dancing. So many people have told us it was the most fun they’ve ever had at a wedding! Thank you also for letting us borrow your equipment to play music for the rest of the night."

"A lovely, friendly professional band Re-Jigged Ceilidh Band were recommended to me by one of their players for our charity Barn Dance. They were great fun, friendly and very professional. Chris contacted me in advance to enquire about access, parking, and facilities in the hall to make correct arrangements. They arrived 1and 1/2 hours beforehand and set up their equipment efficiently. They looked good on stage with coloured lights along the front and dressed appropriately. Each member is a professional musician and the music was excellent, with balance and volume adjusted perfectly for the hall. They kept 90 people dancing for 3 hours, with an interval . It was a great atmosphere. I hope they will play for us again and I would not hesitate to recommend the Rejigged Ceilidh Band. Annie Judge HEPT Barn dance 30th November 2019 "
