"The Shooglers were incredible for our wedding reception. The Ceilidh calling was fantastic and the mix of Ceilidh folk and rock/pop beats was just amazing. The entire dance floor filled so fast! Not only were the Ceilidh tunes good the band also played some brilliant Beatles covers near the end after my wife and I spoke to them about how much we loved the Beatles. We now have lifetime memories on the dance floor from our wedding. Thank you so much to Davie and the guys from The Shooglers, you are awesome! "

"The Shooglers have played for us twice now and I can't wait to get them booked for next year! They have been a huge hit at both charity ceilidhs which we have organised, people attending telling us how great they thought they were. The band are so easy to work with, they are a friendly bunch and are very talented. Their music is fantastic, it's such a relief knowing that if anything else goes wrong on the night that the music will be first class. They have banter with the guests, and call dances brilliantly. They are definitely going to be the first people I get in touch with when I start organising next year's ceilidh. I'd recommend them to everyone, I've already passed on contact details to several people who loved their sound. "Much impressed. A highly entertaining mix of covers given an interesting twist, and what I especially like best, some brilliant, catchy and well-structured original songs. Elaine and Martin are both great performers and always leave you wishing the 'time' bell was that bit later and they were able to squeeze in another song or three."

"Hop Skotshne are the most wonderful band. They are lively, fun, and the music is perfect for a celebration. There was a cross generational, diverse crowd at the party, most of whom had never heard of klezmer, and everyone absolutely loved them. Just thinking of them puts a huge smile on my face."

"Thank you Blue Jewel for making the night so memorable! Everything we hoped and more. We hired a barn in the middle of nowhere for our wedding anniversary, and Blue Jewel came and made the night something special to remember. The band were so easy going and they sounded brilliant live. The caller made it so easy to follow we had 8 year old children dancing with grans and granddads. My aunt said afterwards 'it's impossible NOT to have a smile on your face as you to this!'. I can't put it any better than that. Everyone had a great time. I would 100% recommend, we hope to see you chaps again in the future at our next gig! x"
