The violin playing in the church was absolutely stunning and walking down the aisle to Pachelbel's canon played on a violin was really a dream come true! At school, I played the violin and Pachelbel's canon was the first classical tune I ever loved. At the wedding reception we thought you played the tunes we had selected beautifully on the piano. "Royal String Ensemble played at our wedding ceremony at Gaynes Park, in Epping Forest on the 3rd of January 2017. The group were absolutely fantastic, many of my guests came up to me in the reception to comment and how good they were. The band were highly professional and very attentive to my ideas, they were happy to mix their conventional classical music pieces with some modern pop songs I had selected. The band met with me prior to my wedding day for an initial consultation to discuss what I'd like on the day, the format, theme of the wedding etc., they then provided me with some ideas of music that they had played at other weddings and were always extremely responsive to my emails. In particular the band really stood out and went the extra mile by kindly agreeing accompany my brother and sister (both amateur guitar and drum players) in playing a song at our wedding. This involved them re-writing the sheet music in the correct key, meeting with my brother and sister one evening to rehearse the song, and then arriving at the ceremony earlier than usual to rehearse with my brother/sister before the start of the ceremony. They are a fantastic group and I am sure they will have a hugely successful future ahead of them, they certainly made my wedding ceremony very special and unique, as one of my guests said when describing their music "they are certainly one to remember.""

"The music was pitched perfectly for what we needed, no pun intended! It was beautiful and quirky to capture people’s attention but mellow enough that folks could chat quietly if they wanted. The arrangements were just delicious. Sarah was so easy to work with and went the extra miles preparing gorgeous covers of some of our favourite songs. She was definitely a talking point of the day!"

"I booked Richard as a surprise for my daughter at her wedding as she had always wanted to walk down the aisle to a violinist - we couldn't be more delighted with his performance. The wedding was held in a barn and as you walked towards where the ceremony was held you could hear the violin playing which was just magical. Richard was so helpful and accommodating, playing everything that we asked for and more, he even played Laura's aisle walk music again for her as she wanted to re-live the moment (it was a short aisle!). After the ceremony, Richard played in the background, loud enough for everyone to hear, but also be able to hold a conversation. His contribution really added to the relaxed vibe of the wedding, but I can imagine that he would be equally at home in a more formal setting. We had so many compliments with regard to Richard's playing, I am sure that he will be receiving many more requests from people attending the wedding and the venue itself who were super impressed. Not only was Richard's violin playing excellent his communication before the event was brilliant, answering emails promptly and sending us a run down of what would happen on the day. My family and I send our best wishes and thanks to Richard for being part of the wedding and helping to make our daughter's day so special."
