Born in Hampshire, Eleanor began playing the violin at school aged 6 and went on to successfully audition for a place on the Hampshire Specialist Music Course where she studied with Daniel Bhattacharya. After graduating from The University of Nottingham in 2016 with a first class honours degree in Music, Eleanor held a teaching position at Oakham School in Rutland where she taught academic music as well as assisting in the running of many of the school's extracurricular musical activities. She is now currently based in Manchester where she is continuing her development through postgraduate study at the Royal Northern College of Music with Pavel Fischer.

A keen orchestral musician, Eleanor has been privileged to work with internationally acclaimed conductors and artists, a highlight being leading a performance of the Saint-Saëns cello concerto with esteemed soloist, Natalie Clein. Following a successful audition, Eleanor was recently awarded a place to play in a side-by-side concert with The Hallé under the baton of Sir Mark Elder. In March 2018, she was invited to work with Markus Stenz on an exciting project with the Paris Conservatoire commemorating 100 years since the end of World War I which culminated in performances at the RNCM in Manchester, Cadogan Hall in London and the Conservatoire d'Art Dramatique in Paris.

Eleanor is also passionate about Musical Theatre and is available for pit work. In 2017, she began playing with the London Musical Theatre Orchestra where she took part in performances of Candide at Cadogan Hall and Mack and Mabel at the Hackney Empire Theatre. Other musicals include: Beauty and the Beast, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, The Producers, Miss Saigon, The Wizard of Oz, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Anything Goes, Singing' in the Rain, The Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd, Jekyll and Hyde and Oklahoma.

Eleanor is also available for weddings & events and has a wide range of repertoire from classical to popular covers. She can play with or without backing track and is happy to take any special song requests you may have.
