Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

I require a performance space of at least 2 metres across by 2 metres deep. I will need a power supply (at least 2 x 13 amp plug sockets minimum), a suitable space for storing personal belongings, and a designated area for parking 1 car must be provided.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Sarah will provide all relevant PA equipment needed to carry out the performance.

What information do you require about a venue?

I will need to know any directions that will help me to find them venue and the right place to load in and set up equipment. I will need to know that suitable cover is provided if it is an outdoor event.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

I am happy to play music from Spotify as I set up and between my sets from a playlist that reflects the style of music I will be performing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

I was invited to perform at a Live Music Show at the Beaconsfield Film and Television School. It was an incredible experience to see the inner workings of a live studio and I thrived knowing that every note I performed had to be perfect as it was being aired live. I put that same level of precision into all my live performances, and love watching guests be entertained.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I have a real soft spot for pop songs, it's hard to choose one artist. In recent years, I have enjoyed the musicality, lyrics and fun from artists such a Meghan Trainor and Harry Styles.

The most influential song for me was a version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow, sung by a young girl on Cilla Black's Surprise Surprise. As a young girl myself, I watched my parents cry at her beautiful rendition and it was in that moment that I know I wanted to use music to bring feelings of joy to others.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started gigging when I was 18, and was soon booked for a residency at a local bar. Over the next 15 years, I have had the privilege to perform at events such as the following:
- Marlow Regatta main stage, Marlow - I have performed on this stage for 5 years.
- Corporate award events at various events including Royal Windsor Racecourse
- Residencies in bars and restaurants
- Wedding drinks receptions and sit down meals
- Private celebrations, such as birthdays and anniversaries
- Community festivals
- Live Music Show at the National Film and Television School

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

Every event is unique and enjoyable. I particularly enjoy performing at drinks receptions, where I set up my stage area and watch guests enjoy the music and each others company. I can see different guests enjoying different songs on my set list and know I am catering for a wide range of musical tastes.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I will need a minimum of one hour set up time, directly prior to the start of the event, to load in equipment, set up and sound check.

I normally perform 2x 50 minute sets or 3 x 40 minute sets.

Are you happy to perform outside?

I love performing outside! So long as there is suitable cover for shade or rain. This is to protect electrical equipment from weather conditions such as rain and heat. The floor must also be flat, stable and even.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Clients can browse my set list in advance to curate their songs, and I am happy to learn a specific song or two to personalise the day. I can also provide a QR code on the day so guests can browse the set list and make live requests, creating a truly personalised experience.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous clients say that I create wonderful sets with a wide repertoire of songs for all ages, which really sets the vibe for an event; a magical atmosphere of beautiful music which enhance a special occasion.
