"Monika and her trio played during our wedding drinks reception and did a great job at entertaining our guests with jazz and blues numbers. Would definitely recommend Monika to others for similar events. "

"The music was pitched perfectly for what we needed, no pun intended! It was beautiful and quirky to capture people’s attention but mellow enough that folks could chat quietly if they wanted. The arrangements were just delicious. Sarah was so easy to work with and went the extra miles preparing gorgeous covers of some of our favourite songs. She was definitely a talking point of the day!"

"I’m just back from honeymoon and at the earliest opportunity wanted to contact you regarding Primed who performed at our wedding. Its fair to say that our expectations were high (having seen the demo's!) - and that Primed exceeded them in every way! they were truly fantastic, very professional, yet relaxed and fun - the music was outstanding. They definitely got the party started and at numerous points in the evening I looked around to see EVERYONE on the dance floor! Their music and energy, and excellent song list, kept the party going well into the night (no easy feat when you're dealing with people who arrived at a wedding ceremony at 10.30 am and have been on their feet for 12 hours already!)  I would not hesitate to recommend primed - and would happily provided any reference you need - and am happy for you to use my comments above should you wish. "My first experience of a live steel band was listening to “Caribbean Heatwave” on board P & O cruise ship Ventura. And what an experience!! Heatwave gave passengers a wonderful Caribbean musical introduction, playing lots of popular reggae and traditional songs, but coupled with well-known ballads and even some wonderful jazz numbers which went down a treat when we were in New Orleans. The leader of the group was amazing to watch (he plays with four sticks) and showed his huge personality, skill and talent as he produced fantastic sounds from two pans. Great to watch a consummate performer in action. I wish him well, and his band."

"Ines and her band were such a special part of our wedding day, and we were so impressed by their professionalism and commitment to making the music absolutely spot on. They set a lively and atmospheric mood with their set list of Bossa Nova and Jazz, and later in the evening played their take on some of our requested tunes including Jewish celebration music and other more contemporary songs. Caravela’s musicianship is some of the best on the scene and we were so thrilled that they were a part of our wedding. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and hope to be able to book them again for our next party!"

"Thank you for playing (pun unintended) such a huge part in making the perfect day. You missed your special mention during the speeches as you were preparing for our first dance, but both my husband and dad mentioned how great you were and you got a round of applause. So many people have commented on how amazing the band was, I am especially grateful that you played the song requested by my father-in-law. It meant a lot to him.
