"I shared my retirement party with Alison and agree with all of her positive comments. One friend said "I had a fantastic time and even managed with my two left feet to join in!" You played some of the family favourites just beautifully and absolutely filled the dance floor for our (ahem – unofficial) ceilidh. We had so much fun dancing the night away. I understand one of the 3 year old cousins asked you to play one of the tunes again – I suspect that is a moment that will go down in family history. You were the perfect band for our laid-back, happy summer wedding and it was a pleasure to be able to sit down and listen to your songs. "We decided on a ceilidh for our wedding reception; we thought it would give our day a great "party" feel. My husband is also Dutch and we wanted something that would suit everyone regardless of age, background and language. We definitely hit the jackpot with Blue Jewel - they did a fantastic ceilidh and the atmosphere was brilliant. We even had grandparents joining in the dancing! The instructions were clear and perfect for all language levels, and Blue Jewel was very flexible (we were running a little late) and had even looked up a Dutch song/dance especially for our wedding! We really enjoyed it and have had nothing but compliments about the band, music, and what a great idea the ceilidh was. I would definitely recommend!"
