"I can not recommend The New Fox Band enough. They had everyone dancing (from kids to our generation at end twenties to our parents) within 1 minute at our wedding and it was a fantastic atmosphere. They were brilliant at explaining the dances to the novices (incuding all the guests from outside the UK who'd never danced a Ceilidh before) so that all our guests had a really fun time. Communication was fantastic and they were really flexible with setting up and sound checking to fit in with the rest of the evening."

"I was looking for a singer for a remembrance lunch at at a golf club, themed around 40’s and vintage music. I came across Ruby and instantly knew from her friendly manner and keenness to accommodate my requirements she was the perfect fit. Ruby didn’t disappoint, from her costumes to her big personality she had everyone singing, dancing and waving flags. I have since hired Ruby for other events such as The Jubilee and Mother’s day lunch. She is 100% reliable and will go out of her way to make your event a success. I highly recommend her."

"My new husband and I hired Absolute Band a fortnight ago and they were simply amazing - we chose the 5-piece band because we wanted the fiddle for our Irish theme and it was the best decision! The dancefloor wasn't empty once and compliments from our guests came thick and fast about the band! They learnt our first dance really quickly and the whole night was a musical success. "The band set the tone for an evening where everyone, but everyone, joined in the dancing in our village hall. There was an enormous variety in the types of dances, no fuss about who was meant to be standing on the right or left of their partner and lots of patience when dancers didn't initially get the hang of where to move. And probably best of all they were open to requests for dances outside their normal repertoire. A good night was had by all. Thanks!"

"We had our wedding reception some months after the wedding to allow for school holidays. People had braved some horrible Friday travel to get there, it was very hot ..... and then ........ the band started! The kids stopped playing and all wanted to dance, people of all ages got up and everyone had a smile on their faces. Blue Jewel simply made our evening. Steve, deputising as caller was exceptional creating such a rapport, remembering names and full of gentle banter! Oh and soooo patient with us all. We had ages from 6 to 85 on the floor having fun. We can't really praise Blue Jewel enough - except to give our heartfelt thanks! Book Them NOW don't miss out!!!"

""Thank you so much for coming to play for us at our Officers’ Mess Ceilidh. We really enjoyed the dancing, the music and the free-style playing in between dances. It was the perfect atmosphere setter for the relaxed ‘drinks party’ moments and a fantastic switch to ‘high-energy’ dancing when needed. Every guest had good things to say and all thoroughly enjoyed the music. Having heard many Ceilidh bands over the years, yours stood out for as having a relaxed ‘joyfulness’ about it.
