"Funk With Us are absolutely phenomenal. Obviously I am biased but they are honestly the best wedding band I’ve ever seen perform. All of our guests have since commented that our band were fantastic and I couldn’t recommend more highly! Lilac and Remko are so easy to talk to and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Such a talented bunch!"

"We were lucky enough to have Blue Jewel play for the ceilidh at our wedding reception in Devon in October. Throughout all of our dealings with Steve, he was professional, responsive and friendly which helped to relieve some of the stress of planning the day! On the night the band were fantastic and were able to coax up loads of people to take part, many of whom had never been to a ceilidh in their life. Everyone had a great time; we particularly enjoyed the special wedding dance where everyone danced around us in a circle – people are still mentioning it to us! Thanks so much for everything, you helped make our day."

"Martin played for a recent wedding in our function suite and his music was greatly enjoyed by the bride and groom and also our staff, he was a pleasure to deal with on the day, even after being asked to move to different locations of the suite 3 times! , we will certainly be asking him back for future events."

"We have barely stopped smiling since Saturday night (or the early hours of Sunday morning)! We had a brilliant time, Angus and his friends had a brilliant time, and reports from our friends and family have also said that it was a memorable evening, for all the right reasons. So thank you to you and the band for your part in ensuring the evening was fabulous and kept everyone entertained right up to the last dance. Well done! "The Rib Ticklers played at our wedding at Owlpen Manor on the 6th September and they were amazing. They kept the dance floor full at all times with a great music selection and received rave reviews from all the guests. Even the catering staff were seen dancing in the kitchens!! We would definitely book them again for our next big occasion. Thank you for making our day so great."

"Black Velvet Band Hoedown Trio / 7oaks TriClub Hoedown Barn Dance / November 2024 The Black Velvet Hoedown Trio were superb on Saturday 16th November for our annual 7Oaks TriClub dinner dance. We had 50 members turn up at the Chipstead Sailing Club Clubhouse, and I can tell you that as soon as Mike and his band started playing the first set, everyone got up to dance! There were high levels of energy in the room and the Hoedown Trio rose to the occasion spectacularly, matching our enthusiasm and giving us little anecdotes on the history of the dance with instructions as we cooled down and grabbed a different partner. The band were duly fed and watered with a delicious Greek buffet, and by special request they played a Greek dance to thank the chefs. I think Black Velvet were stunned with the energy levels and full dance floor - and there was no slacking from music or dancing. By the end of the second set we were all perspiring in a good way!!!! There have been calls from many members to make this an annual event, so rest assured we will re-book the chaps for a rematch! A fantastic evening had by all. Many thanks to Mike and the band. "

"You made our wedding reception utterly wonderful and so many of our guests have said how much they enjoyed the evening and the music. My 93 year old grandmother refused to leave until the end and her feet were tapping all evening....she even joined in the last dance and that has to be credit to you. One table of guests had never been to a ceilidh before and said how much fun it was. "
