"Unbelievably big thanks to what you put on for us! It delivered on all fronts!! The sax to start things off was absolutely incredible - exactly the vibe we were after. Then Remko was a hero in sorting the music to walk in on and the music during the breakfast! But the band, boy oh boy did they steal the show - I lost track of the number of comments from our guests on how good you guys were! The bits where you came out into the crowd and got stuck in were epic. We knew you’d be good but you surpassed all expectations!! We can’t thank you enough and will recommend to all our friends! "

"You were highly recommended before the event so I had no worries anyway but we couldn't have asked for more understanding and helpful people, not to mention talented musicians of course! As so many of our guests were from England you performed the Scottish ambassadors role brilliantly."

The blessing dance was a real favourite! The caller was fantastic at encouraging and directing everybody on the dance floor. So many of our friends and family commented on how wonderful the ceilidh was. We would highly recommend Blue Jewel to anyone in need of talented, enthusiastic and friendly band. "Ruby has been one of our regular entertainers at Elizabeth House since 2017. Residents look forward to her visits and always enjoy a lively afternoon. They enjoy both the singing and the variety of 50’s dresses Ruby wears for every performance. Ruby has a way of interacting with residents and including them as individuals, encouraging all to participate. She brings a smile to their faces. We look forward to many more visits from Ruby."

"Sophie and I just wanted to thank you guys so much for keeping everyone entertained during our wedding day back in August, you managed to do exactly what we had wanted and did with such high spirits. "I had the best time with the Barn Buskers celebrating my 50th birthday. From the minute I booked them to the moment they had to leave they were brilliant. The youngest guest was 2, the oldest was 85 and everybody said what a fantastic time they had. Knees hurt but cheeks hurt more from all the smiling and laughing. The caller did extraordinarily well keeping us all together. Note to self.....must learn left from right 😂😂 If you are looking for some talented musicians with a flare to keep the party going, at a pace that suits your needs, then look no further. I believe a friend has booked them for their wedding next year, and I for one can't wait to do it all again 🩷 Huge thank you to Judy and co. Truly a most memorable day 🩷🥳"

"We want to thank It's No' Reel for a fabulous experience. They were professional from start to finish and their organisation is excellent. They were very open to be being flexible with the ceilidh and disco options. We even had a Skype call just to introduce each other and to explain what we wanted which is much better than email. The ceilidh was brilliant and as we had friends and family from different countries, the calling was clear and easy to understand. Everyone had so much fun, it was the perfect end to the day. Afterwards we received a video montage of the ceilidh which we have shared with our friends and family, a lovely added extra which we were not expecting. If you are looking for a ceilidh band, I would DEFINITELY recommend It's No' Reel, if you have half as much fun as we did you will not be disappointed!"

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Viv’s 50th Birthday Ceilidh – January 2025 We had an amazing evening. Dan, Ned and Heather were brilliant. Firstly Dan was incredibly helpful and reassuring when I spoke to him a few weeks in advance. He was very relaxed but also incredibly reassuring that it would be fun and go well! He was very warm and I felt ‘everything would be alright’! They came very promptly and set up very unobtrusively. The music was perfect and Ned was a fantastic caller. He drew people in so well and had a very relaxed manner, he made it very enjoyable. Dan on the guitar and Heather on the fiddle were excellent! We had a fantastic evening of dancing with them. So many of our guests commented on how they made it such fun. They made it a great success. I highly recommend them."
