"Me n the new Mrs would like to say a massive thank you to last minute musicians and Jennifer. Being a bloke I really did leave it to the last Min but the team and Jen were absolutely fantastic. Jen made my wife cry in a good way and everyone said she made our day extra special. Can't put into words how happy we were. Communication was top notch, was a surprise for my wife and she had no idea till the moment Jen sang out song. Great service, brilliant vocalist , room full of new fans. "Rastrum played for our Burns Night at the University of York last week and it was one of the most successful student events we've had in months! It was the perfect setting for students to relax and have fun with old and new friends. The atmosphere was just buzzing and we've already had requests from students asking to do this again. The band were flexible with our venue change and were generous with the dances. The caller was very clear and warm which made the evening incredibly inclusive, especially as over 100 of our students had no idea what a ceilidh was at the start of the evening! So by popular demand I think we'll be getting a ceilidh booked in again very soon. And last but not least, the band play together perfectly and the tunes they chose were brilliant. "

"This group totally made our evenings watching them play live. My husband was mesmerised by the grahams guitar playing and I loved Kelly’s singing - all genres from old 50’s to present day hits. They were friendly, had great banter with the audience and made you feel like they were playing just for you. Everyone loved them so if you’re trying to please a crowd or want something more intimate - book them, you won’t be disappointed."

"James and the guys were just incredible. We invited our friends to a secret wedding (disguised as a christening) as we wanted an informal party atmosphere and from the very first chat, James grasped what we were wanting and produced an amazing Neo Soul evening starting with jazz and working through to funk classics. We really couldn't have asked for more. The band, the music, the dj sets, the whole thing was just brilliant and we want to do it all again!"
