Kate is an alumni of the well renowned Greenwich based conservatoire, Trinity College of Music, where she studied under some of the most respected teachers and performers on the current jazz scene including Anton Browne, Anita Wardell, Mark Lockheart and Phil Peskett. As well as her work with The Puppini Sisters, Kate continues as a solo artist to be an active member of both the UK jazz and swing scenes, frequently performing at some of England’s finest jazz venues including Ronnie Scotts, The 606 Club, The Vortex and The Spice of Life. She also sings with the amazing mini big band she co-runs called King Candy and The Sugar Push and her own smaller ensembles, available for you to book from here today. Kate and highly acclaimed jazz/classical pianist Will Bartlett have also recently created their intimate "Between Us" duo project that explores the different ways you can in-the-moment connection between the musicians on stage and their audience. They recorded an album released in 2018 and continue to gig and run workshops that delve in between the notes and really explore how to tug at the heartstrings and super-charge the joy.
