"Sunny has just performed an amazingly, incredible performance on Friday 11th October 2024 to raise money for my charity Planting for Hope Uganda (PfHU). He is an exceptional performer as not only is he a brilliant guitarist and a singer but also he interacts with the audience in such an entertaining and amusing way. The enjoyment throughout the evening was completely down to Sunny and I received compliments all evening and for the days after. An incredibly outstanding performer. If you book him I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Elaine James Trustee for PfHU"

"IT WAS billed as A Night At The Musicals, and it was certainly a title which attracted a packed house to the Howden Park Centre last Friday evening when Darren Shaw and three dancers took the stage and sang and danced their hearts out. Two for the price of one took on a whole new meaning in this show in which we, the audience, were encouraged to join in with some of the well known songs. If you looked around, all you could see was a sea of smiling faces having a great time reminiscing and sharing some of their favourite moments from the musicals. This was courtesy of one very talented young man sporting a George Clooney haircut and diamond earring, some nifty costume changes, an incredible voice range and an endearing smile. Using a variety of spectacular, if sometimes dazzling lighting effects, and the obligatory dry ice creating an atmosphere that makes the singer appear suspended in clouds, the show began with a spotlight into which sauntered Mr Shaw in top hat and tails singing On The Street Where You Live, from My Fair Lady. Once again the excellent acoustics of the Brian Duguid Theatre played host to emotive, full orchestral music courtesy of impeccably timed tapes. Maybe it was just a shade loud in the first half which saw something very unusual and totally original. Everyone is familiar with The Sound of Music and the recent Connie Fisher version of The Hills are alive. Enter Darren Shaw looking splendid in lederhosen, like a denizen of Austria and straight from the Alps. To everyone's amazement and some barely concealed audience mirth, he became a soprano and made the hills come alive in his own special way. As the show progressed, the format of two songs by Mr Shaw interspersed with dance routines by the hardworking dancers began to win us over. For the first time ever, the famous duet from Grease, You're The One That I Want, was sung by Mr Shaw who performed the male and female parts. Using his falsetto voice – an attribute which was once taught in Italy in the middle ages resulting in the singers being known as castratto (please, don't ask) – Shaw sang the SuBo hit from Les Miserables as he duetted with himself in I Know Him So Well. In The Phantom of the Opera sequence he once again sang the famous duet which takes Christine, the soprano and The Phantom to perform, all by himself. As for the three dancers, two glamorous blondes and a bonny brunette, they proved their versatility by dancing a variety of styles from musical comedy to modern with a brave attempt at Irish River Dancing which drew cheers from the audience. The finale saw Shaw resplendent in a mint green sparkling shirt and matching flares with the dancers in glittering jump suits so there was no doubt that we would hear something from Mamma Mia and we certainly did. This night at the theatre was indeed a feast of tunes from the musicals which at first, thanks to Mr Shaw's dual voice, seemed a little hard to digest but soon became an acquired taste."

"Our wedding was truly magical, and Oliver played a huge part in that! He effortlessly created a warm and intimate ambiance indoors, making the celebration feel even more special. His performance was outstanding, and the personalised song he crafted for us was a highlight of the day that we’ll cherish forever. "

"From first booking John for my Golf Captains Day in early 2020 to actually being able to hold the event in July 2021 he was very accommodating. Before the event I spoke with John and discussed the evening and how it should go.He is multi talented and brings a lot to the party.Knowing how difficult it is to please everybody I asked John to do whatever he thought went down best.He did this perfectly judging the mood of his audience and adapting accordingly. We as a family thoroughly enjoyed his voice and his choice of songs and thought he got the volume correct for the size of the club.He later kept the members entertained with his disco and obliging the members with their requests. This was our first major event post COVID and thanks to John went exceptionally well.I have had many positive comments since the event saying what a good night they all had.I would have no hesitation in using John again in the future or recommending him to anyone else."

"Daniel was absolutely fantastic, from the initial booking to performing on the night. Professional, punctual and an absolutely senstational voice. Everybody on the night commented how good he was! Took on board what I was after and nailed the brief. Would highly highly recommend. "

"Sam was such a special addition to our big day and was a nice surprise for the bride. Every single guest told us how excellent the performance was. Our photographer and wedding venue commented “probably the best and most professional wedding singer they have worked with”. A really emotional, performance which I feel can only be achieved by an acoustic guitarist. I would 100% recommend!"

"Booked Marc to appear at Galway Uke Fest in 2018 and again in 2022. His eclectic mix of styles and great musicianship always enthralled the audience. A mix of jazz standards and rock and pop classics keeps the audience engaged and guessing what was coming next. Not to mention his original music which stands on its own merits. He uniquely adapts his set to the occasion digging into his rich repertoire. His workshops are top quality and always much appreciated. In addition to his scheduled gigs, Marc also played a couple of impromptu sets in less formal settings (the pub!) and those who caught these still talk about his standing on the bar rocking out on his ukulele - you had to be there! A pleasure to deal with, always delivers - highly recommended…"

"Would fully recommend Murray. Great singer and real nice guy as well. He made my wife's birthday party very special. Good interactions with the audience but not in an overbearing or embarrassing anyone way. Amazing as well that he travelled the width of the country to entertain us."

"Dionne sang at a family birthday party held in our garden and was the perfect finishing touch for entertaining on a summer’s evening! Her repertoire was fantastic and she included a special request of “One day I’ll fly away” for us - just beautiful, and not a dry eye in my family! Dionne was completely unfazed by children, families, fire pits and our tipsy guests and provided the perfect night of entertainment with her beautiful voice and soulful style. Thank you Dionne!"
