"Through the 11 years that I have known Rory both as a friend and colleague, I have found him to possess many excellent qualities. He is extremely organised and pays close attention to detail. I have worked in his band Latina Carnivale since 2013 and found him to be very efficient in running his production company [management]. The events are always diligently co-ordinated with all the operational info sent out well in advance, so we always know what to expect. I have found Rory to be very reliable and always keeps his word. I think he would be a great asset to any music or arts organisation. He has a wealth of knowledge to impart to peers from his years of music-making. His approach is fun and engaging whilst bringing lots of ideas to the table."

"Nothing was too much trouble and the musicians were all fantastic. The dance floor was full all night and so many people have said to me that they loved the music and had never danced so much in a long time! I would absolutely recommend the BV's!"

"Booking The Jazz Prescription was easily one of the best decisions we had made for our wedding. 'Outstanding' doesn't quite cut it when describing the communication ahead of the big day, the service, the standard, and the guys themselves. We were absolutely blown away by them. Jeremy is one of the nicest guys you'll meet - no request is too great either. We were looking for a specific song for our first dance and it wasn't a problem, Jeremy and the guys learnt the piece just for us! As one of us is a musician, music was incredibly significant. We knew that a wedding band was integral to the evening entertainment, and quality was incredibly important. These guys are professional and a seriously tight band. They played with energy and passion and that just made the evening even better. We had about 140 guests in total and there wasn't a soul sitting down - our guests still talk about them. Jeremy asked our guests to join us halfway through our first dance and everyone flocked to the dancefloor to enjoy swaying to the beautiful music. Nobody wanted their set to end and they played encore after encore because everyone kept asking - we wanted them to play all night until the early hours! We would recommend The Jazz Prescription to any family member and friend. To be quite honest, I think our guests would recommend the band to their friends from that very night! One of the band members was actually on tour during our wedding and took the night off to specifically play for our event, that is the level of commitment and dedication! Jeremy knows the best and will do the utmost to ensure that they deliver the best. This is the perfect band for your wedding if you're looking to please all ages with all tastes. "I just wanted to email to let you know how fantastic I thought you all were on Sunday. From the first time Paul showed me your wesbite, to seeing you perform a sample set many months ago, I knew you guys would be outstanding and you definitely lived up (and surpassed) my expectations. Sera, your solo song ‘Ive Dreamed of You’ during the ceremony was incredibly moving. The string quartet and the pianist were pure class, all three sets from MIB were perfect and uplifting, Lindsays’ Budda Bar sax set was amazing and the rock set certainly rocked the Langham! Everyone I spoke to throughout the night commented on the music and how fantastic you all were. There was something for everyone and it was a delight to see the dance floor full all night long. After months of planning the day flew past so quickly but the memories will last a lifetime. I cannot wait to see the video footage later this summer. Thank you for making Paul and Amy’s day so memorable."

"The band performed at the finishing area of the Big Fun Walk, North London Hospice’s biggest event, and we would definitely book them again. They created a celebratory atmosphere playing uplifting and energetic tunes which everybody loved. Phil was incredibly helpful, professional and easy to work with which makes all the difference when managing a large event. All of the musicians played with great skill, energy and sensitivity to the occasion and location. Our walkers, staff and even tourists who happened to be passing by, were tapping their feet and smiling in the bank holiday sunshine during their sets. We look forward to hopefully working with them again in the future."

"Richard and Barbara were so nice. They were early, left to set up whilst I carried on getting things organised. The guests thought they were great! I think some guests even took their details. Their choice of songs and when to rest/play was perfect. I didn't need to ask them anything apart from what toppings they wanted on their pizza and what drinks they wanted. I would highly recommend them and thank them for coming along at such short notice. Thank you Sarah-Jane for organising. "

"We booked Starlight Sounds last year but we had to postpone our wedding due to covid. Thankfully Emily and Joe were very helpful and were still able to play for our big day.
