The best gig I have ever done is performing with The Ibiza Orchestra Live in Derry to an audience size of over 5000 people. Incredible band, audience and atmosphere.
I have also been lucky enough to have sung at the 606 Jazz Club, Ronnie Scotts, 02 Shepherds Bush Empire. In 2019, I joined Royal Caribbean's Harmony Of The Sea's with my jazz quartet for a long term residency.
Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Peggy Lee, Dinah Washington in terms of Jazz.
Beyonce, Adele, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson in terms of pop.
Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Natalie Cole In terms of soul.
James Taylor, Michael Mcdonald, Fleetwood Mac, Carpenters, Carole King in terms of pop-rock.
I have been singing professionally for the last 15 years. I study music at university and my career in music branched from there. I have since averaged at about 3/4 gigs per week.
My favourite gigs are events when people come to have a cocktail and watch the show. I love to feel connected to my audiences and see them leave with a smile. I love to perform in hotels, restaurants, singing at wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions, corporate events and parties.
I'd normal arrive about 1 hour before the performance to set up. On average I mostly do 2x45 minute sets but happy to be flexible with this.
We are happy to be outside so long as there is cover if it rains and the surface is flat.
I am happy to learn 3-5 song requests for the client. Clients can also pick tunes from my repertoire. For any new songs I would need 3 weeks' notice for learning.
Previous customers have described me as a great addition to their events. They have said I have an incredible voice that is smooth and gentle yet, bold and soulful. Clients have said I am great at adapting to the environment and can cater to background music or switch to party mode seamlessly.
