"Words cannot describe how thrilling it was to walk into the reception, hear music, turn round and see you play. You created a truly magical atmosphere. When the band came on later, everyone got up to dance. And it was not a straightforward gig. The band went that extra mile - not only in the planning and preparation stages, scheduling an order of ceremonies that would cater for our precise needs and requirements - but also on the day itself. When my DJ vocalist fell through at the last minute, the band were only too happy to step in, playing my MP3 cues through their sound system and even learning our first dance wedding request on the spur of the moment! The band were also kind enough to play extra time, and I was really pleased with their adaptability and flexibility in response to the fluctuating nature of the event. They ensured that my wedding was a real party. The band itself was a joy to behold and everyone was delighted with your music. I sincerely hope that we can work with you again in future. Thank you!"

They played an excellent selection of music tailored to our event, they were flexible on performance times and were a friendly and lovely bunch to have along. "“You were really great and everyone loved your music! For late night lindy we wanted a band to play a variety of tempos ranging between 130 and 180 bpm with the majority of the set staying around the 130-160 mark. We also wanted the odd one or two songs to be played at the higher end of the tempo spectrum, somewhere between 180 and 230 bpm. Ideally we didn’t want each performance to exceed the 4 minute duration because most of our crew are still building up their stamina. Swing Gitan met all our requirements and made an enormous contribution to a fantastic night. We can’t wait to get them back again.” "

"The South west swing collective played on our Wedding day and they were absolutely fantastic! They picked great music, perfectly mirroring what we’d asked for, and intuitively picked up on the vibe they got off of our guests. Everybody loved them and it gave the night a real energy. They engaged the crowd and helped create a party we will never forget! We would highly recommend them to anyone who wants live entertainment for any event.
